That's a MEGA achievement mate to get the full set, I've recently completed the Wii U and it's a great feeling to get the last one. A Wii U set is nothing compared to a full PAL Megadrive set though, surely the best full set you could wish for 😍 I think a lot of EA Genesis games came in those larger style cases, I have Legend of Galahad and Robocod USA in those I think from memory. Great video 👍

Great video Scott, nice to see an update on arguably the best console set ever released. The mega drive holds a massive place in my gaming heart. I didn’t realise there were so many variants and sub sets even after watching Mike Rouse videos. I would never go for a full set of anything because of money and space but if I did it would def be the mega drive first. Nice to see each tubers thoughts and their fave games/memories. Also a great and generous gift of those 2 games from Big Mike.

Awesome video, I've really enjoyed following your Megadrive journey. Congrats on getting the full UK Pal set. It's an awesome collection, and I always love seeing all them blue spines. It was nice hearing Megadrive memories from other Tubers as well. By the way, it's funny you should mention that EA chunky box. Japanese EA games came in this box style as well. I really like them and have been picking them up as and when I see them. I'm a little tempted to go for a full Japanese EA set haha. My favourite Mega Drive memory was when my neighbour got the 1st FIFA for Christmas and seeing a sort of 3D football game for the first time was epic. Because up until then all we had was 2D football games ⚽️ congratulations on the full set 👍🏻 happy new year!!

Congrats on the full set, Scott! One heck of an achievement! Nicely put together vid, too! Such a great console, played on my cousins Mega Drive in 91' with the likes of Eswat, Kid Chameleon, Dick Tracey & Moonwalker....remember borrowing it a few times and me and my friend renting Road Rash from the local video store haha Finally got my own (Aladdin pack) in 93'. If I wasn't in the States I would probably be chipping away at the set myself....or at least I think I would, the logistics and costs may change my mind haha

Great video, and congratulations! I got a Genesis for Christmas with Captain America and the Avengers as well as Sonic 1 and 2, but the box didn't have an adapter. I had to wait about a day until school started back up before the store opened to get one. Pure torture having it all there and not playable for days on end.

I did want a full collection years ago but limited space and that I change my mind on that I just want games I will play that are awesome I don't like sport games and there alot on mega drive. Mega drive was my first console and is my favourite console. 😊

@@SEGAZombie na I have more then enough video games i have enough mega drive one full shelf from sealing to floor and I had a sort out there every game that's my favourite only so much better I been playing alot more now I had a big sort out new shevles . I probably owned every mega drive game at some point through collecting for 24 years now if it's not a game I enjoy I move it on only have games on shelves that I will play time and time again and again but it's cool when people do full sets it's just not for me I'm not that kind of collector gamer I glade I changed my mind on full set. It's interesting seeing and hearing about different game collecting goals

I’m not gonna lie I’d have loved to have been in this lol. I think most folks see me as a modern gamer and that’s partly true I do love my modern games, but I’m a gamer of a certain age, so the past is important to me and the MD holds a special place in my gaming heart. That brings me to the MD. I recall the moment I first saw one, which was an Japanese system that someone had brought down to my local computer club and the games he had. Which were Super Shinobi, Ghouls n Ghosts and Mystic Defender. It was the first console I bought with my own funds and the point in my gaming past where I left the micro’s behind and it introduced me to the wonders of Japanese gaming. I remember so much about that console, where I bought it, what I paid & most of the games I used to own in the early nineties. I enjoyed the SNES as well (especially when SFII came out), but I never got into it like I did the MD. Great video Scott and I hope You, Jade and the family have had a great Christmas & New Year.

Larussa baseball was released here in Australia as the "genesis" version. It should have player cards and a some other case candy inside. I have about 10 copies of it, its quite common down here.

So the AUS release of La Russa Baseball has a Mega Drive sticker. Honestly though I wouldn't get caught up on that, it would be nitpicking. I'm interested to know how were you able to get the original release of World Championship Soccer 2?

It’s an endless mission it seems looking at all the variants out there on the Megadrive, World championship Soccer 2 in my set is the rerelease mate I tried so hard to get the blue spine version it’s just not surfaced, I’m hoping one day I will have it to replace the classic release
