I really enjoyed hearing about your design process! You have a real committment by not only trying out different processes to achieve your goal, but also trying other yarns to determine the effects. I agree with you. It's the small details that truly make the pattern. Deceptively simple is the best plan I think.

Thank you! That's encouraging. It feels good to take pride in the details and enjoy the process :)

Your Latvian mittens turned out so good. Great job! You did such a great job designing your Sego Baby Hat. I can’t wait for the release of your pattern. I will be one of the first to buy and knit that pattern. I have been making baby knits with Drops Baby Merino and have several beautiful colors but i didn’t have the Beige (looks more like brown) that you have so i ordered some. I was thinking about getting Drops with alpaca but decided against it because of the flying fibers but i will probably get some in the future. Love your channel and love seeing your adorable children. 😊

Thank you! I'm really proud of the mittens and would like to make more. And thanks for your encouragement about the hat pattern. :) They've been really fun to make so far. I agree with you that Drops "Beige" is more brown. That's what I would have called it, but I love the color. :)

I love those mittens! The color combination is absolutely beautiful and the afterthought thumb was smart, I don't know why I've never thought of doing that before! I guess living in California I don't need many mittens, but it's something to file away for later!

Thank you! I have a feeling I'll be doing the afterthought thumb again ;)

I really like your boxy style sweater. I do think have the raglan line closer into the mid chest helps. I have better luck with raglans that don’t have a lot of extra body increases & always have to split for sleeves sooner than the pattern calls for.
