Many people usually turn to Christianity for comfort and reassurance and because of their non-comprehension of the laws of existence; these people will only remain static in their meekness till the end of their time on earth. Indeed, because of Jesus' words recorded in the gospels: "blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth", the churches have taught that meekness is to be commended, making people feel that their "meekness" is the way to the LIGHT. However, if the meek were to find the TRUTH concerning their "being" and were to find the right way to make contact with God - the meek will eventually be told inwardly and clearly that, spiritually, they are the equal of everyone else. The meek will be inspired to express themselves well. The meek will be given the strength to speak "their truth" in a more confident and attractive way. People will begin to respect this new person and the meek will be manifesting the inner spiritual development gained during their times spent in meditation. Remember, we are not on earth to "please" God, as the churches may tell us. We are on earth to express God and to make ever closer and closer contact with God until we become free of the magnetic-emotional bondage. It must be made clear that Jesus' words have been mistranslated in the gospel. Jesus said: "blessed are those with peaceful hearts for they will inherit the earth". If we contemplate the world, we will see that those countries with peaceful hearts prosper and live in harmony with their neighbors. Where there are upheavals and genocide, this turbulence is the direct manifestation of the awareness of the inhabitants. Such awareness destroys a country and begets poverty and illness.

The parallel in Psalms is וַעֲנָוִ֥ים יִֽירְשׁוּ־אָ֑רֶץ וְ֝הִֽתְעַנְּג֗וּ עַל־רֹ֥ב שָׁלֽוֹם׃ The term used, ענוים is usually translated as "humble ones". Moses is described as ענו [עָנָ֣יו] מְאֹ֑ד מִכֹּל֙ הָֽאָדָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה , that is: a greater ענו than all the people on Earth (literally on the face of the land). Moses was _not_ meek! He stood up to everyone, from פרעה to god to Israelites who challenged him or his brother. Either Mathew was working from a bad translation, or people are incorrectly translating the Greek.

Why the path of jesus is narrow. We are his sheep, and the sheep have a pastor to follow. The great Lord will show them the way. Be meek, pray for another and turn the cheek. Satan the prince of the world. His path is wide. Be a wolf. Find your own path. Seek revenge. Do what thou wilt...this road leads to damnation but my lead to a strong path on earth. My opinion...Seek the Lord

The saying has been miss interpreted so much. The meek is actually a man that can be dangerous but has his sword sheathed. He can do battle but does not start one. Those men will inherit the earth. The poor and powerless will be always destroyed. Better to be a warrior in a garden than a Gardner in a war.
