Hmmmm..... I beg to differ..... GT series perhaps YES and I'll know for sure soon as I have a GT1 on pre order due in thr next 6-10 weeks but no way as premium as the 2022 Apollo CITY Pro which I only just had arrive 3 days ago. Apollo are the 'Apple' in terms of both design and software capabilities. Have you seen their keynote from 3 weeks ago on their Apollo PRO due to drop in Q1 of 2023? All I can say is WOW!!! Perhaps I may change my mind once my GT1 shows up. I really think Segway and Apollo are the Samsung Vs Apple in the scooter universe and nothing is better than healthy competition and rivalry. Reason being for drum brakes is intel from their customer base is comimg back that current users of their other models with regen brake is that they use this more often over hydraulic brakes in commuting. Other reson they are going the drum path is for it's low maintenance aspect

Have had mine two months now. Excellent build quality without the scuffs in this video. I am 200 pounds and the range is achievable. Unlocked in sport mode and I can travel 48 kph on a fairly fresh battery. The torsion suspension is excellent. Well recommended.

Not so sure mate, check out Apollo branded scooters in particular their 2022 line up (Air & City / City PRO) look out 2023 though as their head engineer and mad resident scientist Eloi will slaughter Segway with his 2023 PRO, look that up.... all I can say is WOW !

@Bigazzham Yes, I would have more faith in Segway's reputation. I admit I had a charging issue with TWO faulty chargers, including a fault on one of the turn signals. I received a BRAND NEW replacable (Version 2) City Pro scooter with no questions asked and so far so good no issues or complaints 500kms later so I couldn't be happier with Apollo's customer service, there is no complaints here. Besides the above, the quality of the City Pro ride to me is an absolute dream, literally its like floating on a cloud ☁️. Yes Segway is king yet I believe Apollo are heading in the right direction and have come a LONG way in the past 12 months across build quality, reputation and customer service / satisfaction. I encourage you to watch a few of their vlogs on their You Tube channel to see where they are heading in the future, VERY innovative and exciting

@@davidfromdownunder Indeed, they seem to be improving. I believe they just launched the product to early, or their supplier dropped the ball. I plan on picking up the p100s in spring, just due to the fact I like the thought of a single motor better, and from what I read it on par with the city's dual motor with less power consumption. But of course, its rocking a heftier price tag.

Hey scooter community 👋 I just purchased the Segway P100s 2 days ago, and it’s great, I’m just curious IS THERE a fast charger for this scooter? I also have the ninebot max g30 and I use a fast charger that charges in 3 hours which uses the smaller circular port on the side right next to the standard 3 prong port on the side of the scooter. This new P100s of mine doesn’t have that smaller circular port, just the 3 prong port, does anyone know of any fast chargers sold/ made for the Segway P100s scooter?

When testing for your review, can you be sure to put the mechanical disc braking through some dedicated testing, specifically in regard to feel/responsiveness and efficacy in stopping power? Important for us all to know if hydraulic is truly a miss here on the P100S. I can't imagine Segway didn't consider it when they tested both during R&D.

gave my p100se back after 1 month and 300km driven. Rear suspension is damaged. left arm is not working. rear fender just dropped because it came loose too. its a design fault because every one of the two suspension arms can work independently and cause the wheelaxis to tilt sideways and get loose. its a big dissapointment. i will try the GT1 now on which the rear suspension arm is a U and not two seperate arms.

P100 is way better the the Apollo city pro it’s higher quality and has more range and still fast. There’s been videos of the city pro having charging issues and some parts breaking Segway is very rare or never an issues.

@@ElectricVehicleSpace Did you buy this electric scooter with your own money, or did the company send it to you for review for free? This scooter looks like it has been used before. Big scratches on the plastic, stains near the rear light. Plastic should not be scratched like that, it indicates its poor quality. When a thing costs $2,000, it's unacceptable. Even in the G30 Max scooter, the quality is better for its price. Also, the levers are poorly painted, blotches of debris under the paint are visible. I also noticed one thing that the levers in the promotional videos are painted in a different color, darker than in your copy. Segway should think about the quality of their products. After all, in all the little things its cost must be justified. And with such a cool scooter design, the buyer also wants to get quality materials for this price. Reputation is hard to gain and easy to lose. Segway should think about better quality control.

What has happened to the accessories for the Segway P100s ? After spending over $2K for their product, there is no such thing as adequate support for the North American market. It’s just a bunch of Chinese customer care representatives speaking poor English who don’t understand what customer care and support is. Why can’t anyone at Segway answer questions? Whey can’t they respond to inquiries about their accessories e.g., side mirrors, phone mounts and the accessory bar for their P100s and GT2’s ? Is there anyone in the United States (not in China) who can answer quests ?

GT series looks WAY more premium, I was considering the P100s at Kickstarter launch which is literally just a few hours away right now but after that unboxing it looks to be very all PLASTIC and no fantastic, no way as premium as the GT series. I'll stick with my GT1 which is due to show up very soon via an Aussie distributior but in the meantime I'll enjoy my even more premium 2022 APOLLO City PRO, that oozes Luxury and quality

Why do you KZbinrs continue to review and thus support a product with terrible customer support ? In all of the reviews no one discusses how dysfunctional their Chinese customer service is. There’s no one in America to properly support their product. I read tons of reviews from so called KZbinrs. This prompted me to make up my informed decision to purchase their product. I compare this to the recent debacle of FTX and all the ensuing law suits against those celebrities who hawked and supported the company because investors trusted them. Why do you guys do that ? Now as a Harvard JD, let’s talk economic. KZbinrs can make a lot of money off their channels. I know some making six figures. So it should come with responsibilities. How do you know about the other channels. Are you constantly monitoring the competition ? Why don’t you have the wherewithal to contact the company and ask them … “hey Segway, where are the accessories which you promised consumers when they paid you thousands of dollars for a product. If you’re going to monetize as a youtuber, be able to ask the valid questions.
