They say bad words to both (hurrem & Mahi) This series spreads hate and divides MC fans in hurrem fans and Mahi fans. We should always give our opinion on any queen by keeping in view the history. Then, we will find our queens that are actually peacemakers and not murderers. IDK, why this series also lies to describe the relations between many personalities. Hurrem did not hate Mahi, Mustafa, hatice, shah, Fatima. Only the real bad relations was between Nurbano and Safiya Sultan and I haven't studied about Kösem and Turhan. So conclusion is to not to disrespect or disgrace any queen and princess of ottoman. The real problem was that Mahidevran raised Mustafa in fear and used him to further her agendas. Hurrem shielded her children from the games (Mihirimah and Hatice had a strong bond) and taught them to always respect and obey their father. Mustafa feared death needlessly. History repeats and if it was not Hurrem and then Kausam sultan then Ottomans would have the worst . Hurrem always loved Mustafa. From the time she met Mustafa she was been very warmly welcoming towards him. Can’t blame Mahidevran as well because she too was trying to save her child by keeping him away from Hurrem. And slowly when Mustafa started growing and understanding things he was been forcefully bad fed towards Hurrem. As all Hurrem kids loved Mustafa more then anything, she never had any problem but when Mahidevran made it so evident and never treated Hurrem’s kids good for once’s then she started protecting her kids. Back then the politics was more real and do or die things. It looks fascinating on screen with beautiful faces but on the reality ground women were only used to produce kids “boy/Shehzada”. Mustafa was doomed from the moment his mother decided to use him to taunt Hurrem Sultan. She used him being the oldest son many times "stating that once he became Sultan she would Kill Hurrems children" and make her watch before she is tortured. Hurrem had no choice but to protect her sons even if it means Mustafa has to die. Had mahidevran been sent away Hurrem and Mustafa could've had a better relationship.
