you are doing a great job seids, for now it's really cool, but please expand these and go into details of production, there is lot on youtube about mixing and mastering but very less on production actually... I hope you like the suggestion.

Most of this series talks about things that are not production, singing, playing keys is not production. Production is simply the task of arranging sound and or midi into a sequence thats it. This is why Dr Dre is still a producer when all He is doing is telling other people what to do and what to put where.

I see there's much more to creating an excellent piece of music. I am not clear yet on each of the lessons, but I love seeing how music is created.

There was nobody like Seids around teaching production back 20 year's ago when I started, I had mad experimenting stage, then did sample based Hiphop, then started making My own melodies then expanded into other genre, it was a good 12 years before I ever come onto KZbin to see other producers.

Really good job. However, when I got to Lesson 7, I realized I had been trimming Lesson 6 instead of creating lots of melodies and soundscapes. I got ahead of myself. I was just supposed to gather source material at this point. I had to go back to an earlier, saved version, to begin Lesson 7.
