Great advice. When I was in my 20s there was no Internet. These days you really CAN make a successful business with just a laptop (and a lot of skill and effort.)

When I started writing songs with structure I thought the “official song format” was Verse 1 Verse 2 Pre chorus Chorus Verse 3 Verse 4 Pre chorus Chorus Bridge Chorus And I used that structure for so long but then I switched it up and began writing longer songs, shorter songs, and well… less verses. Now my main structure is more like this Verse 1 (or intro) Verse 2 Pre chorus Chorus Verse 3 Pre chorus Chorus Bridge Chorus Chorus (or outro chorus) I also used to write every single chorus different except for the line with the title of the song, but now I only change it for the final chorus. I know many writers don’t and would never do the things I do, so basically this is a lesson to start with something and experiment to figure out what your personal style is! Remember, you are never going to be the next Taylor swift or something, because you’re going to be the first you! Take inspiration, not personalization!

I always get stuck at trying to figure out what is needed to do what I wanna do. I know what I want to do, but do I have to get a business degree, an accounting degree, a graphic design degree or go to a fancy audio school in order to be able to pull it off successfully? Like when you say, what am I willing to do to make it happen? If I sell my house and go to school, is that what it takes to make it happen?

Have you tried "shimmering plate' a stock Logic reverb, long way down in the long reverbs of space designer. It's great on vocals I think.

Have you ever made a video on how to do vocal reverb and delay side chain with buses for that cool ducking effect? If not, I wish you would. With stock plug ins, of course. I've watched so many videos and for some reason on my end, it never comes out sounding the way it should. :(

Why do you call them “tricks”? A trick is a cunning or skillful act or scheme intended to deceive or outwit someone.

"They listen." Only took them about 10-15 years to implement search, but yeah, they listen. By the next time something you have been requesting gets implemented, you will likely be a grandma and no longer even making music. LOL
