It would be great if in the future you could show the backplay in the handle. I know this one has none b/c of the AR bearing but it would be nice to see on the Avets and others that use strictly dogs.

Well I'm kinda looking to compare the big game spinning reels out there I'm looking to get into a combo for casting/jigging for bluefin somewhere under $1000 preferably around like 6-8 hundred

It's a great reel but the BV-300 is next level.

Very soon I'm getting a high dollar very small baitcaster, it's gonna have to be the accurate BV300C in blue and silver. It's just beyond any others made. This looks reel nice (pun intended) but the accurate with twin drag, beautiful finish and mega great reviews, make this choice easy. This looks nice too, but not quite on the level of the accurate

What's your thoughts/feeling on the binding that happens with increased drag? Seems like I'm fighting the fish and the reel.

I found the same issue and when I contacted Seigler they say that is normal for lever drag reels. My response "I own an Avet and Shimano lever drag reel and neither have that issue. How can I return your reel". Of which I did return it.

I have since spoken with seigler they walked me through a few steps with it and its super smooth. Also I bought 2 LG and they are also super smooth and crazy strong.

It is like van staal
