I have a Aphrodite Lutherios lyre. What tuning are you using please?

Hello, Peter! For the 7-string lyre the tuning is G3 A3 B3 C4 D4 E4 F4. Before altering your tuning significantly, it is important to get in touch with your luthier, as most string musical instruments are built to handle specific tuning. If a completely new tuning is what you are looking for, then most probably, you will have to re-string your lyre with brand new strings with different features. Just keep in mind that trying to reach a significantly different tuning with the same strings will lead you to snapping the strings or harming the lyre.
