I just got this watch . I just don’t understand why everyone does the same thing , like change the bracelet. I adjusted and resized it to my wrist size . Once you put on the wrist ( I’d adjust right to size ) does not rattle. I personal feel it does not look better with any strap . I like to keep it as it comes and it looks great . Why everyone is trying too hard to make it look expensive as it does not look add much to it .Keep it the way it comes , you will eventually regret the changing of the band .

my one issue with this watch is that it can't be wound??? Why would they make an automatic watch that can't be wound for some power reserve

Got this watch as a souvenir of my time in the middle east. I actually feel that it's a little less dressy than some other Seiko offerings, like the SRPD55 or SSC715. The bracelet was very unfortunate, but this watch is just begging for a olive/khaki Nato strap anyway. Great video!

I have a collection of some interesting watches, among them a pre-V Panerai 5218, a vintage Tudor MN, a Squale 1521 Oceano Satinato diver, and I was looking for a "plain Jane" Seiko that is low key, a daily if you will, worn on a leather or Sailcloth/canvas strap, so I researched and "almost" bought a Seiko SDGM001, the "Grand Cocktail" . . . until this one popped up on my radar.

Hey @LocalWatchGuy, you described everything I needed and convinced me to follow you. Originally, I was interested in the Seiko 5 Sports SRPH49K1, which is just a little different in color. It's not made in Japan and uses the 4R36 instead of the 7S26, making it slightly more expensive. I think I like everything that you introduced, and there's a high probability that I will follow your lead and select this watch. I really appreciate your video!
