owning a citizen echo drive calibre e-111 white lunar dial. but every time this pops out of my feed this was a beautiful watch dial im inlove with it but holding my self to buy it coz i just bought my echo drive just a week ago. but either way i love this seikos dial. i decide to go for mech watch probably this one is a keeper.

Looking forward to the full review. Nice to see a review of a Seiko 5 with the classic 5 badge, not to common these days it seems. Yeah, it's too bad about their bracelets, the only Seiko 5 I own with a decent bracelet is my SNZH57. After changing the clasp to a milled, it wears and works quite well.

I will always have a soft spot for these older Seiko 5s, as one of their models is what really hooked me into the hobby. I agree, the bracelets never have been up to snuff.

How does the day wheel work. I’ve had it in English and as soon as it was past 12 am it switched to Arabic. A little confused

Sorry for the late response. It has both english and a second language. Set the time to 6:30, then change the day back to English. Pull out the crown once, and rotate it (counter-clockwise, I believe). Let me know if you still need help.

You can change it, but it would be very difficult to find a replacement that looks good.

Just received mine love it so much, even managed to remove a few links to fit my wrist, But the piece inside moves around and makes lots of noise. Kinda disappointed if that isn’t how it’s supposed to work

It should definitely move around (that is how the automatic rotor powers the watch) but shouldn't make too much noise. Is it like a ticking or a scratching noise?

With the integrated bracelet? There isn't, at least in the Seiko 5 range. Check out the Tissot PRX though. A bit more expensive, but a very cool watch! Have a review on the channel of the mechanical variant, but there is a slightly more affordable quartz model if that's your thing.

Nearly impossible. I've seen a few take a leather strap and cut it to size which is doable, just a bit tricky.
