Hi all you fans of Lume Shot and Eric's work. After 4 years after his posting of this video on the Bloodmoon I finally bit the bullet and had the updated version commissioned with the specs I felt were a good match. The watch was received more than expected in time, quality, and packaging. Doing business with Eric is a true pleasure and I can say without hyperbole that he is an open and honest person to deal with throughout the process. Please continue to support him and his work however you can. Thanks, Eric. 👍

I never would have guessed a custom built like this was done by a young man like him. This kid got talents and skills, and I LOVE that he is so ADD about the cleaning and his attention to details. If he's already doing such amazing work at this age, can you imagine how skilled this kid will be in 10, 20 years? This kid's going to be a bright star one day!

I just did my first crystal upgrade. It was much easier than I expected in my head. Of course I watched plenty of videos on it. I’m pretty new to modding but I’m extremely happy with my Orient Mako2 I just finished. A DD clear AR crystal, coin edged bezel, lumed ceramic bezel insert and a Strap code jubilee bracelet. It’s really nice looking. Now I’m ready to do more. I really enjoy your videos. Great job.

💯 I have 2 Mako lls and would love to mod one with a new (domed?) sapphire crystal and bezel like the one in this vid, maybe upgrade the line too. You said what I was thinking, that it's some big thing & I'll mess it up. And that it ended up being easier.

You won't find a better option for having a custom watch made for you! I contacted Eric/Lume Shot a few months ago about purchasing an exact copy of the Blood Moon watch featured in this video. He was extremely communicative and made several thoughtful recommendations that ultimately resulted in a design that I like even more than the original Blood Moon. He was also very patient with several questions I had. His pricing was very up-front and reasonable, and my watch was delivered 2+ weeks sooner than the timeline he'd initially provided. It's obvious that he's not just running a business, but rather doing something that he truly cares about and takes pride in.

For any beginner, when you set hands, always turn them backwards to the 12 to eat up the backlash, otherwise they will look set but when the watch runs they will go out a little. Also, you can do this when you set the watch. This entirely fixes the backlash minute drift on the 7750.

Hey Eric, love your videos, especially the builds. Always very informative but also very entertaining. If I could offer a minor suggestion: I would love to see the finished watch on a strap. I think I understand why you wouldn't show that, the finished watch is supposed to go to a customer that puts it on whatever strap they want, and a strap is maybe not part of what you consider your work and process. But every time I see one of these gorgeous shots of the beautiful finished watch, I get this tiny nagging feeling that they are not done, that something is missing. Noticeable exception: the watch you gave away to your father. Seeing that on the bracelet made it feel complete to me. Anyways, just my rambling, keep being awesome, I'll keep watching, learning and admiring what you're doing. Thanks!

KZbin just sent me this video. I remember watching this video when it first came out. Outstanding watch mod. However, as having OCD, I would have expected the movement to be regulated to better specs. I learned several years ago to regulate my 6309s and 7s26 mods. I’m able to get them to a few seconds a day with less than 0.2 for the beat error. It can be time consuming and at times I can spend well over an hour doing it. But the good news is it’s not difficult to do. It’s very satisfying to see that thin straight line on the timegrapher. I just watched your video on converting 7s26 movements to NH36. I’m going to do my first conversion. After taking apart a 7s26 movement for servicing, I lost the diashock while putting it back after cleaning and oiling it😢. Those little buggers have the tendency to fly away. Very frustrating when that happens. That is the most difficult maneuver of the service. It’s one of my favorite mods so I decided to convert it over to the NH36. Again, your mod is outstanding!

@Michael-ot9bk4 жыл бұрын
Bro, why you playin? Get your stuff submitted. Call them, fax them, do the online thing (do it all to get eyes on your claim). It will take 2-4 weeks (most likely 4, and maybe longer) after your claim gets submitted to get your first payout. GET IT DONE HOMIE! Too many peeps making claims right now, if it continues they will most likely stop accepting claims because they won't have enough resources in terms of people to process the claims, or money to payout. Hurry!
@Michael-ot9bk4 жыл бұрын
Depending on your state you will get Unemployment benefits + State Pandemic benefits + Federal Pandemic benefits. The federal is the easiest and it's a one time payout, the state pandemic is second easiest and you could get 39 weeks worth, and regular unemployment benefits is the hardest to get.
