Oh boy, Seiko divers and fragrances. Two addictions to easily fall into. My two Seiko product divers are the SKX009, and the Orient Kamasu emerald green dial. I’d have to pick the SPB143 of the two. I like my divers no bigger than 42mm, preferably 39-40mm.

I have a 143 and just got the SBDC125 this week after considering it for quite while.I love this one! It's just a great looking watch and it's been running +3 seconds fast since I set it 3 days ago. I have a 6.75" wrist and it wears great. I have been considering getting a second one because I always want to have one. Did I mention I love this watch? $950 on sale at Gnomon.

I knew you are into watches for a while and it's very nice to see some wartch review...another of my passions. My personal favourite affordable Seiko Diver for some years know is SPB083J1. That dial just catched my attention and never let go ever since. Out of this range I love SPB147J1 the most, but would definitelly get an extra bracelet for it. Another favourite Seikos from my huble collection is SARB017 (legendary Alpinist) and SARA015.

Ah yes what a great one the SPB083J1. It’s a larger one though no? Otherwise I love it too!

@@UrbanDwellerNYC on paper it is 44mm, but due to some classic Seiko tricks it wears like 42mm. If you will have a chance, try it on hand. I bought a Crafter Blue black rubber strap and it's a great combo!

Thank you for this! I ordered the SBDC101 then cancelled it when I saw the SBDC125.

I have both....and they are Both amazing watches!!!!! Seiko 143 is more dressy.....the 101 Is more of a casual one for me. Really good choices.

After owning and selling the SPB143 a few years ago, I recently purchased the SPB147. The silicone strap it comes with is nice, but I put a straight (universal) 20mm end-link bracelet on it and I love this. I think this vintage straight end-link look really complements the more squared & boxy design of the SPB14* lugs.

Do you prefer the 143 or 147 ? Is the 147 as versatile

ITZ HARD 2 PICK ONE OVER THA OTHER CAUSE THEY'RE BOTH EQUALLY IMPRESSIVE
With a wrist size of 6 inch, I prefer the SPB143 with 40mm diameter

SPB185 looks absolutely the same size, because it's bezel diameter - 40mm. It measures 42mm by case side cheeks, which are almost not visible when you look at the watch. I have 6.5 inch wrist, and used to own Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600 42mm, which looked huge on me. And now I'm happy with SPB185 - it wears like 40mm
