It is technically a willard. Slim-willard. It is based on the 6105-8000 the father of the willard. Willard is a 6105-8110.

Coolest Prospex diver to date. The black dial SPB317 on a rubber strap or nato is where it’s at imo (but I don’t like any Seiko diver on a bracelet).

This is a great watch too !!! Like Doxa, Seiko can make diferent dial colors, like orange, yellow, blue, etc. And also, with that price, rubber strap should be included !!! Seiko, do not be stingy !!!

It’s the white dial for me and I like the date the way they’ve done it. It’s a beautiful watch and I all ready have the Rdunae version of this watch which is very good to be honest. It’s the price though with this one. Is it really a thousand plus watch? I’m leaning on the side that I don’t think I’d regret it if I did buy one but it’s close. Great vid and thanks.

I have an SK013 (36 mm version) and i truly love it! But then i got a SRPE31K - "Mini turtle" and then the Seiko SPB157 - "Alpinist" and the movement in the two new Seiko just blows the SKX out of the water, especially the 70 hours of power reserve of the Alpinist, is just great! when you have more then 1-2 automatic watches, also the dial :)

The US razor wire is a pain in the backside to size because the wire bits that comprise the "midlink" are so fidgety but once you have it sorted? They're super comfortable. I have one on my SKX007. 😊

Nice watch but I'm going with the Citizen Fugo with the white dial. The loom is top notch. Matter of fact the entire dial looks loomed on the Citizen. Thanks for the great video. Also the Citizen bezel lined up spot on.

white dial fugu is hard to read. the indices and hands do not stand out well against the white dial, I'd say the seiko has the edge there.

I have never paid MRSP for a seiko, there are always sales. Average I paid 30% for new Seikos in AD.

These watches are simply gorgeous and not as big as the Seiko Willard. I'd almost buy one but $1100 is a lot of money for a Seiko Watch with just a decent bracelet and 6R movement. If I could find one for around $700 or $800 then I might buy one. Otherwise you might as well just a get a Mido Ocean Star or Hamilton Khaki Navy which both have the Powermatic 80 movement.

There were a lot of "it's a Seiko" caveats on this watch for a grand. For that money, I'd expect a fully milled clasp, not a pressed clasp over a milled fold over. And thst bracelet sounded so jangly. For that money I'd rather get a CW - which comes with a swiss movement and a clasp with easy adjust micro adjust built in. It's got a pretty dial and bezel, but I don't see a $1k watch here.

I believe "slim" refers to it being 41mm instead of 44mm like the turtle. 12.5mm would be "thin". Slim refers to diameter I believe.

Slim turtle Willard already has its nickname, can’t come out later (current release) and bump the one out already. Could be slim willard maybe? It’s based on the 6105-8000 so maybe call it the 8000? 🐢
