You've given this serious thought. This is not another review. I loved your redesigned Speedtimer quartz. It's a bit too much to hope for, but it would be great if Seiko were to do a collaboration, using your design.

@@robiv7139 out of the two, I’ve only tried the tortoise on the wrist. And I think that would be my choice. I prefer the indices and the hand set on the tortoise. But I have to say that the solar lil baby tuna could be my next purchase.

The frosty dial speed timer gives the watch a completely different feel. Not sure If I love it or hate it. But the 38mm Certina is tight. A watch I would like to see in person for sure

I have the panda dial and I agree; this is the best looking of the versions of the speedtimer. I should've gotten this one. My biggest gripe with this watch is that the chrono timer subdial is the smallest of the 3, which makes it really hard to read. Seiko should've put the chrono subdial at the 3 o'clock and made the relatively useless 24 hour subdial the small one at the 6.

Great job! Honest review. I own the white/black panda version and it is great! Like you I would have liked to see a screw down crown and also screw links instead of pin & collar. Those are my main two gripes. Anyway, we can’t have everything right?

Holy crap that watch is fantastic. Love it! Great review. Yeah its a shame that every watch nowadays seems to get compared to Rolex, like they invented the watch or something. I think people just don't know of another chrono to compare it to so they go with the default Daytona but this looks nothing like a Daytona. I don't see any similarities. PS if you are looking for a good two sub-dial chrono, the Hoffman Racing 40 is my favorite. They are so well made, perfect QC. But on strap. "stick to salad dressing" hahahaha

I'd push your redesign one step further and put a 12-hour register on the left to go with your 30-minute on the right. Hard to believe that they couldn’t manage that, but if it were somehow too complicated to achieve a two register quartz chrono, your redesign is the classic they should have aimed for.
