Beautiful watch! I couldn't figure out why it was so expensive until you mentioned the spring drive complication. "Wet" dial is definitely an understatement because that dial looks like a lagoon fr. Nice video

The finishing on the movement is machine applied, then lightly polished. When doing close-ups, you’ll notice the machining marks on the beveling. Hand-finished movements only come from the Micro Artist Studio and adorned on top of the line movements found in CREDOR’s minute repeater and Eichi ii, Grand Seiko’s 8 day Spring Drive movement known as the 9R01, and Grand Seiko’s 9R02 found in the SBGZ001/003/005/007.

By the way, the strap is not made of calfskin. That’s actually shell cordovan which is horse leather. NoMoS use shell cordovan and so does JLC with their Casa Fagliano straps made for the REVERSO 1931 tribute models.

Its very weird strategy from Seiko to cover such a wide price/quality with the "Presage" line - its all over the place. You have watches with a basic 6R15/35 based movement, then you have what is getting pretty damn close to Grand Seikos like the enamel dial here and now you also have those in between with the revived King Seiko movements (6Lxx). All its going to do is confuse consumers and reduce sales at the top of the range.
