That is one AMAZING looking mod! Great job, man! The silver bezel/Green strap combo looks killer. I keep noticing some serious guitars behind you as well. So far, I've spotted a 60's Strat (reliced?), a PRS, a 70's 2 humbucker Telecaster & an Ibanez. Do you still play much? Us guitar nerds want to know!

Very nice. That does look great. I do like the Sumo. I’m really not a fan of how it’s priced. The 3rd Gen did get sapphire and a 70 hour reserve, but almost doubled in price. It is running in spec. It can go from -15 to +25.

It did, I think it was marketed as the middle tier, one step up from the entry level divers. So in that regard, it's priced correctly, but I still wish it was less!!!

The clasp on this watch is crap, I still purchased the watch as I managed to get 25% off and I've always wanted a Sumo. You would expect a better clasp though for the price seiko are charging. Great review 👍

I think the strap is awesome! Not so keen on stainless bezels...just don't do it for me...I'd like to see how it works with a black insert...reckon that would be killer.

Sorry Seiko I have a $500 limit for Seikos. The bezel swap looks nice but you lose some of the Sumoness with large cartoonish numerals. Love crafter blue rubber straps, the fitted ends and quality are great

I hear ya, but they got rid of the big numbers on the stock Bezel with the 3rd gen! It was kind of charming tho wasn't it!

@@mrbacchus6127 well I lied about the lug width!!! It's 20mm, sorry. I think the case is the same but I've not had a previous gen.

@@ChillinwitWatches Good I'm glad, 20mm lug width combined with chunky lugs is also part of what makes it a proper Sumo. That and the camel toe marker at 12 of course!
