Kata Bunkai - Juji Uke Applications Part 2 - Arm Lock (Ushiro ude gurami)

Juji uke or cross block is one of the most poorly understood techniques which is frequent throughout many kata. In this video the second in the mini series we will look at the application of the juji uke as an arm lock (Ushiro ude gurami/back hammer lock/kimura) from Pinan Yondan.

tuari108 thank you Tuari, there are lots of very clear, simple and highly relevant applications of this movement but I feel it's really unfortunate that most of the applications I see for it have just abandoned reason so I completed get why the technique as lost relevance to so many and it's a real sadness

Excellent demonstration with one nitpick. This application will dislocate the shoulder joint. It isn't likely to break any bone.
