Daniel von Bargen, who portrayed Mr. Kruger, died in 2015, aged 64, after a long illness. The latter years of von Bargen''s life were extremely sad including diabetes, a leg amputation, and shooting himself in the temple in a suicide attempt. At the time, von Bargen remarked "I have no children and no life, and I'm tired" When he gets to Heaven, I hope his first words are: "I find your belief system fascinating" 😂 Meanwhile, the epitaph on his memorial reads "I'm not too worried about it". Daniel von Bargen who was great here suffered from Diabetes , lost a foot. He shot himself in the head and missed. He temple shot, missed the brain and made himself blind. There is a tragic 911 call. He died a few years later, thankfully. He was a good actor.

This might be a good place to post this and see how other people feel. I am a huge fan of the show, I think it might be the best sitcom of all time. I have NO COMPLAINTS. But IF IF IF I had to pick one time that the writers missed an opportunity to get some more mileage out of a guest star (something they did so many times), I think it was Gordon Jump's character as George's boss at PlayNow. I thought Kruger was funny, don't get me wrong- but I thought they left a lot of meat on the bone by discontinuing that storyline so quickly.
