This was from 1994 when the L.A. riots were still relatively fresh in the collective memory, BUT the next few years (1995-199ish) were about the best period for black-white race relations in U.S. history. Black household incomes were increasing, crime in black communities was plummeting, and black music, black TV shows, and movies with black stars like Will Smith were widely enjoyed by multiracial audiences.

Most actors dont eat the prop food. The chewing is almost always fake. Also when you see an actor actually put food in their mouth, it always cuts away before the swallow. This is because most actors choose to spit the food out rather than swallow. On sets, during dining scenes, there are always "spit buckets" on hand for such things.

Lol, no, I'm sure it was just because some people like chocolate, and some like vanilla, so a cookie with both will please most people. The vanilla side tastes better to most because its sweet, the chocolate used is usually darker to give it the classic black and white look, and dark chocolate is usually kind of bitter.

@@Lv-nq9qz There's already plenty of sweetness in the cookie though.. or dough... so the dark chocolate actually adds contrast and therefore more flavour, like a salt and vinegar chip, or salted caramel chocolate.
