Newman was simply delightful in his own quirky sinister way. A perfect satellite to the core cast. Every scene with him was a sheer treat. My vote goes to his country lawyer scene where Kramer wanted to “become a banker” The whole scene never fails to crack me up. Even the well reserved and amazingly tolerant judge was just perfect. They don’t make TV like this anymore. Unfortunately.
