This may help you remove contacts: put your fist, with your thumb and index finger pointing up toward your eyebrow, right against your cheek. Then you can use your middle finger to help pull down your lower lid and slide your thumb and index fingers in from the corners of your eye to catch the sides of the lens and pinch it off of your eye. This helps keep your nails pointed away from your eyes.

The difference in frechie and melody (in wall paint terms) Frenchie is a flat while melody is more of an eggshell. 😅 I think that describes it best👍

I have contacts too. One closeup and one far off. Yes, you will adjust to them. As for taking them out can be a bear however, my eye doctor told me to hold my lower lid down and place the flat part of my other finger on the contact and swipe down toward my lower lid I am holding with the other finger from the other hand. I hope this makes sense. It just roll out. Nails or no nails.

I wore contacts for years until my cataract surgery, and they were mono vision like yours. Sometimes a pain. I found if you push down from your upper eyelid you can pop them out. Try putting drops in before removing.

Oh I've had the same contacts for years bc I don't want to wear glasses!! I still use readers just for crispness when actually reading, otherwise they work great! Taking them out - I also have relatively short nails and I've found that if your thumb and forefinger are plump with moisture, like you just washed with warm water then towel dried them, they tend to "stick" to the lenses much better for an easier grab. Pluck them right out :) You'll get used to it. You practice that, I'll practice figuring out fake lashes, lol...

Hi Michelle! Contact removal tip: use your pointer finger and thumb like tweezers but pinch the contact with the SIDE of your fingers not the tip; the tips should be pointed towards your nose. Hope this helps!

So I got my shades in the mail today. First of all I love jolene. Somehow it does not look too orange on me or too bright, it looks super pretty. Less bright than tiger lily. Secondly, I looked really hard at melody and I see shimmer in it. I think that makes it less flat. It's very pretty. Actually jolene and melody both have shimmer, super subtle but adds something nice. Good job with these shades seint!

Fun video! I am 65-and I agree with you about Frenchie. I look terrible in it. Washed out and flat. I am a spring also! I’m glad to know that you are. i have been using Seint January and have been pleased for the most part. Due to combination skin I have had a problem keeping it on until yesterday when I used my newly purchased Charlotte Tilbury setting spray. I was happy with Amber until I realized I looked rather yellow. OMG. I have used Fresco by Estee Lauder forever and It looked beautiful. I am 74 but look really not much older than you. What do you suggest?

I love you and your kind followers here.🌷 I’m so excited you got contacts. If you are struggling to get them out don’t panic. I did a couple times in the beginning. Take a break after putting eye drops in. I actually use the edge of my gel nail to lift up the outside corner of the contact. Or use the pads of my finger and squeeze in from both sides at once. Not sure if that’s a great way but it seems to work so far for me. Hugs and prayers.

So true, be honest. I can't stand cattiness and jealousy. Also, I tried Frenchie for my first lip/cheek. It looked pretty but it disappeared on me. We are allowed to form opinions on products and state them publicly. You've helped me eliminate patchy cakey foundation! I appreciated your comments on your surgery. People don't talk about all of the sides of it and you've helped others make informed decisions on whether or not to do cosmetic procedures.

I also would love special occasion makeup for summer! I’m so glad you adjusted quickly to the two different contacts! I struggle a little still but I think it’s because my distance vision is also terrible. Ha! But sounds like you will adjust well! I remove mine using the pads of my fingers. Rather than pinching on one hand, I use my index finger on each hand and with the pads I move them together and sort of pinch them out that way! Works if you have nails that way!

I wore contact lenses from the time I was 10 years old (1974) till 1999 when I got LASIK. The key when you have long nails is to use the side pad of your thumb and the upper inside pad of of pointer. Not sure if I’m making sense, but play around with it. Also, you can but tiny silicone plungers to help (those were most handy when I wore hard lenses).

Monovision is such a game changer. Glad you've given it a go. I've been wearing contacts for 45 years. I have dry eyes so after a long day removing them can be tricky. My tip is to look up, and use the pads of my fingers to squeeze in from the bottom of the lens, not the center (too easy to scratch the cornea that way), and pull down and out at the same time. If my eyes are desert dry, I'll put one eyedrop in to make it easier. It takes practice but you'll get it.

Sun spots are a bummer. I saw the video where a "Saint Sister" called you out and was surprised. I agree with you. I have the Frenchie which was recommended to me and it is not good for me. I am a very mature woman and it does not work. I have watched many Seint artists, and they talk about the mature woman, wish they showed a very mature woman. Unless you have a child or furbaby named Frenchie, there is no need, imo to get bent out of shape! I remember when Frenchie was launched, I asked my Seint Guru, Michelle her opinion. After all , she is my artist, pal, and knows my coloring. She told me it wasn’t a good match for my coloring. I was thrilled, why have to spend money, and end up returning. I appreciate Michelle’s opinion. Years ago in my career days, I shopped in an upscale department store and loved having a personal shopper. She knew my size, color preferences, price point etc. I loved it! Michelle is my modern day personal shopper!

I think I’m one of the odd men out on the gloss formula, I really love it. Love the Jolene, then again I’m probably biased, my grandmothers name was Jolene (aka big red) . She actually hated the song but I thought it was awesome that dolly sang a song about my grandma lol😂… Just today I was looking at all my skin damage from years of tanning and tanning beds, I’m just amazed at the fact every year it just gets worse looking. I used to go out all the time when I was younger. Usually wore some sort of light sunscreen but I remember doing it with Sun In or chamomile tea in my hair. LOL. I subscribed to your Mature Makeup Masterclass the other day. Yay! You are now my Seint artist and will submit a photo soon. The gloss colors are really pretty but I am probably just going to stay with a satin color.

I am so happy you got the contacts! They gave you mono vision just like me! Now you are going to find the challenges with putting on eyeliner and mascara and getting stuff on your lenses! The best way I know to take them out is to use your fingertips only while you use your other hand to pull your bottom eyelid down for removal. I started wearing contacts at age 13 when they only had the hard ones available! You will get used to them and putting them on and taking them off will get easier with time - be patient! Just like you say with learning Demi and Seint as well as using retinols - patience is a virtue! Thank you for your video today! ❤

This is less red than Nars, but I have Exhibit A in my pro kit and use it often on deeper skin tones. Jolene can go on bright peach or built to a full on orange!!!

Been wearing monovision contacts (one for far, one for near) for over 20 years. Get the Air Optix, night and day lens. You can wear them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for 30 days. At the end of 30 days you take them out and replace with a new pair. They are the only lens on the market approved to sleep in and wear for 30 days. You literally can do everything in them without any trouble. Swim, sleep, everything. You only need to worry about removal once a month. They are the bomb! Great video as always.
