In a playful way, natural history information is brought closer to children and adults, the so-called "Klammgeist" guides the children through the gorge and provides valuable information about our environment and nature! The emergence of the Seisenbergklamm in Weissbach near Lofer is about 12,000 years ago. In the recent ice age, large parts of Salzburg were buried under a huge ice stream network. By slowly flowing under high pressure, the glacial ice eroded the valley of the Saalach to a trough valley. After the ice melt, the Weißbach made its way through the enormous glacial deposits and into the underlying Kalkfels. Over the millennia, the breathtaking natural monument Seisenbergklamm has come into existence.
