You can't imagine how much I like this track, it reminded me of the great Ron Asheton for some wild, psychedelic stuff.

I gotta say, that sustain and tone are fabulous.. I know you like to ‘flirt’ with self described ‘noise’ but this piece is very strong with harmony and melody

The video reminds me of the drive-by stuff in Michael Moore's 'Roger and Me' - about the industrial devastation of Flint, Michigan in the 80s. if I remember right, he ironically used the Beach Boys' 'Wouldn't it Be Nice to accompany the images'!!! Reversed video, a more melancholic sound/approach - is the suggestion that of going back in time to, possibly, better places!! The contrast provided by some of the harsher stuff is impressive - and further suggestive of the shift from the Now to the Then!!

kind of,... that's a good interpretation, though honestly, I try to work subconsciously like a savant within the very narrow strictures of image and sound, sometimes there are happy accidents, but never an overly conscious design.....

So good! very interesting contrast between the hazy, lyrical melody (I was strangely reminded of the soundtrack of Spike Jonze's Her, which I re-watched a few days ago!), and the very harsh grainy textures on guitar!

Eventually, we'll all end up going backwards. Stephen Hawking said so. Didn't he?
@loopbasedzero4 күн бұрын
I'm familiar with the theory from Terence McKenna, and Philip K Dick wrote a book about it.
@ShiceSquad4 күн бұрын
@@loopbasedzero Wow, what book was that? And McKenna's theory, is there an easy way to find it? I'm surprised I never heard of these; I just meant Hawking's whole thing about the universe constantly expanding and eventually it's going to stop expanding and start contracting, and that might be like time going backwards. However, I can't even pretend to understand this stuff, so maybe I should shut up. I just thought your video was cool.
@loopbasedzero4 күн бұрын
@@ShiceSquad Soo, with McKenna, I read his Pscilocybin growers guide way back more than 30 years ago, that he published under a pseudonym, it could have been in the introduction, or it could have been in Food of the Gods, which i actually gave to Krist Novoselic, also around 30 years ago, he never gave it back,.... I'll have to look up the PKD book....
