I see a lot of comments about the yacht being owned by the US govt or needing to be sold. Seized yachts are still owned by the oligarch, they count as a frozen asset and can't be sold or transferred, or and are secured when docked. To own the yacht, the govt would have to prove it was involved in a crime and requires a legal process, warrants, etc. To learn more about this, you can search 'what happens to seized Russian oligarch yachts' or the like.
