I know this is years late but based on how it's described in the song, the exact same experience personally (more than once), and starting at 2:27 where he says "you ever have a grand-mal seizure in gym class," it's safe to assume he had/has grand-mal seizures. Edit: You noticed the lyric, never mind. Hope you enjoy the song again as you read through this reply. 😅

I loved it. One of my favorites from him. Maybe because im epileptic though
