I'm 36 year old woman. I started having partial seizures 3 1/2 years ago. I had my first full seizure 3 years ago. A year later I had 3 in one day. They kept me over night for observation. Everything lookd normal. EEG, MRI. They prescribed 1400mg of keppra a day. Ifelt the depression and psychosis 100%. I quit taking the medicine after 3 weeks. It took 3 months for the depression to wear off. I was doing the ketogenic diet with success. I had partial seizures until a year later I had 2 seizures back to back. Since then I have been doing 25mg of B6 under the tongue because B6 is what converts Glutamate into GABA. Especially when I'm having higher estrogen. I recently started supplementing CBD every morning rather than just when i think I may have one. I have also tried the hyperberic chamber 3 x a week for 3 months. Didn't have one seizure or partial seizure the whole time. But since the last time. I have had more control over them. Keto is hard. But its worth it.

My man was not epilectic, but was in a car wreck and had a concussion and started having seizures, and four years later he had a deep brain stroke, a blood vessel busted in his head and he lived, but had grand mal seizures from 1995 until 2013 when he passed away. The temperature aspect is true. If I caught him heating up I had children's fever pads and put them on this forehead and he would not have the seizure. It usually happened when he was in between conscious and sleep. He had high blood pressure, and when he was going to seizure his blood pressure would go up to 200. He passed out on the way to the VA hospital and they gave him clonopine and it came down in one hour to 108. One time I wondered what happened in his seizure so I put my head on his heart and everything inside of him was kaflooey. It sounded like a washing machine. I was devastated..... None of the meds worked..

Great presentation, as always. Although if I am not mistaken, on your EEG, I see epileptiform discharges on the right side and not on the left side. Other than that, perfection...

I had migraines and "daydreams" from 5 until 33. Then the full on Epilepsy hit. I get to be in the 30% that gets all types of seizures as well as at LEAST 3 MONTHLY. Hooray for me!

I still don't know what caused me to have a generalize seizure @ 39 years old , with no history of ever having seizures. I do have both focal and generalize. Sometimes their are auras and sometimes their not and my spell did cause a vehicle accident still have the pictures its been about 13 months since May 7th 2020 to early June 2021. I have suffered a total of 6 seizures 4 tonic- clonic grand-mal type and 2 complex focal impaired awareness, I have been in status epilepticus at least three times that I know of. These seizures seems to come every 4 months. I am a military veteran currently going through the VA system trying to figure out these seizures all my other exams and tests were normal blood work was normal CT was normal only the MRI suggested it of a stroke whatever it was it was small and old the exact words from the VA doctors and they can't go back to tell me how old it is but now at 40 they don't think it's still even a stroke could they could go back further into my younger years seems like they're grabbing at a bunch of straws not just myself but also my family is getting agitated because of these long 6 to 8 months waiting periods just to see a VA doctor.

Seizures are worse taking drugs, maybe the lower seizure threshold is caused by the new drugs

Not medically trained but followed this video very well. Even the primary, secondary, and last drug of choice for for seizure control. Could figure out the 2&3 letter abbreviations since I’ve tried most of them or my client has tried them. 🧐
