Sejusa denies planned procession into Kampala

Former renegade Gen. David Sejusa is expected to travel back to Kampala on Tuesday from his rural home in Sembabule district. He drove to Sembabule a few hours after returning to the country from the UK last Sunday.
Now police say Gen. Sejusa has distanced himself from a planned grand procession in Kampala to welcome him back home after 20 months in exile.
Police Director of Operations Andrew Kaweesi told NTV that the organizers have not engaged the police in their preparations and therefore will not be allowed to proceed.
