I've actually heard this happening in the US and Canada (just the locations I looked). They get caught a lot more since inner surveillance and nanny cams became normalized in homes. Saddest case I heard was an old man going in and cleaning up. When the tenant caught him, the guy looked visually confused. Turns out he had dimensia and thought his daughter was using it as a college dorm (she graduated 15 years prior). They changed the locks, got the old man some help, but the tenant still didn't feel safe, so she badmouthed him after moving out. The old couple had to sue her for defamation.

Hey guys! I'm the Male VA for this story. Thanks a lot for watching! Just because that guy was the Landlord, doesn't give him free access to do what he wanted. Even in the US, it's often (Though not always) required to give at least some notice before they can enter a tenant's apartment, for this exact kind of reason. Riku handled this like a pro, gathering evidence, and keeping Tsuyuri safe until it could be resolved. It's no wonder she fell for him, given how strong and reliable he was for her. Good job, man! As a tenant, you have rights and yes, as a landlord you have rights too. But the rights of one doesn’t trample over the rights of another EXCEPT like the one mentioned in the video, an emergency like the tenant being unconscious (not sleeping) or injured. At least for the US that’s true and it seems that’s true of Japan, what a creep hope he has a miserable time in prison.

After that The Landlord was arrested and making excused wont help untul theres enough evidence to be cleared, he was sent towards to prison. His wife divorced him via lawyer and shutting down his apartment after the incident was spread in the neighborhood. His landlord title was stripped and having a criminal record after his released which gave cold looks around the people around him. Much to his despair and delusional attitude, He began to stalk tsuyuri onto her apartment place, thats when Riku and her sister appeared behind him to meet again. Riku caught him and tsuyuri called the Police. Riku & Tsuyuri argued him, thinking it's his fault on the first place. He was sent to prison again for worst, as life sentence to his despair without getting out include beating up prisoners to his useless entitled.

not gonna lie, even thought this drawing style shows up from 5 days ago, i got so confused on who riku's sister was as i thought tsuyuri was the dirty blonde one but i was wrong on that as she was the brown haired one and mika was the blond one. another difference i noticed was they have different eye colors. the story felt too much like again, yesterday a bit mixed with 4 months ago that happens to have the same art style and character design along with shades voicing in it called "This girl moved in to my apartment, but then…" and this clip from a year ago as you guessed it, shades being there once more called "People thought I was incompetent but when I was hospitalized a series of problems came". you know, i never was a fan of apartments and NOW i have a good ass reason why i'm a house person, especially when you have creeps like this landlord here and worst of all, the dude was married. jesus christ.

Landlords usually do have a right to inspect their property, BUT only after proper notice to the tenants! Which can vary from location to location, but the minimum I believe is 24 hours notice to the tenant. Actual notice, not a hidden one. And it was confusing as to which was his sister!
