Two long lost sisters reuniting after a long time... it was really sad how Kayo was treated; some parents show favouritism in certain situations or just out of malice in this case, but it's really great that the rest of Shu and Kayo's relatives stood by them... cuz not every family would do that.

A lot depends if the Golden Child recognizes it and tries to help their sibling. Sadly, they can get entitled and expect it. It seems that at least half or more of the Golden Childs become entitled and look down on their sibling. Glad this one is nit.

There's a serious part 2 opening here, after all, which sister ultimately wins over Shin, Shu or Kayo? Maybe both?? At least, Shin was able to help reunite them, very touching. As for the parents, law abiding or not, keeping the 2 sisters separated, not to mention showing favoritism, only led to them losing both girls....maybe they will be able to reflect, maybe not. Hopefully, in time they can reconcile...Great VOAs too! 😊

I'm actually glad that there was no love-story ending to this. Sometimes it's not necessary, but seeing his sister watching over him was nice, made for a wonderful ending. Would make a great slice of life anime.

I don't mind if they have a follow-up where he ends up dating Kayo, but I do find it annoying when they rush the story just to add a splash of romance at the end. I do love that they opted for the scolding him for his diet instead though.

It's so sad that Shin lost his little sister at such a young age due to a traffic accident 😢 but it's nice that he did the right thing by helping out Shu and Kayo reunite with each other again after their horrible parents try to keep them apart 😠and it's sweet that the three of them are living together.☺️❤️

Poor MC that lost his sister...but also the two sisters victims of toxic BEASTS (because calling them "parents" would like hitting yourself with a metal whip on the back...) that only cared about one child... I'm glad that the same child (the little sister) was smarter and decided to leave those two (to which I wish the jail along with some lava...).

Okay, this is one of those stories where there was no resentment between teh sisters because of how the parents acted. However, if it wasn't for Shin, and the rest of Shu and Kayo's relatives things would have been overflowing right now.

They are legal adults by law at least in most modern countries they can either file for separation from their parents or legally are protected as adults and do not have to listen to their parents. Neither seems to be in school either so their not covered by guardianship either though it is an animated story so things could be different. But looking at it from a real world point of view they do not have to even deal with their parents and their parents should not have any need to go looking for them unless there is some other hidden motive to having control over them. Which even then there are laws protecting people on reaching the age of an adult even in a screwed up world.
