The 4 horse heada on his shoulders is actually a reference to an execution he did where he tied each of a person's limbs to a horse and had each one run away from the body in a different direction

One of the reasons that Charles Henri Sanson did carry on being an executioner despite the social stigma and not liking the work in Fate because he realized that he was good at it. He had the skills to make the executions painless most of the time, "clean", not causing undue suffering. In his mind it seems to be like "someone has to" and better someone who has the skills instead of someone who does a bad job, causing needless suffering and/or someone who actually enjoys killing.

Oh wow this one is short. I like Sanson, he...REALLY needs an animation update. Thankfully he has gotten decent story rep due to being one of the featured Servants in Salem (which did a surprisingly excellent job at giving every single allied Servant a good showing). His initial story appearance in Orleans is significantly less compelling due to being one of Jalter's forcibly enmaddened lackeys so he was kind of being an OoC prick. But yeah, good character overall. GIVE HIM AN ANI UPDATE LASENGLE!

Mr sanson, the character got redeemed by one chapter making him so well written. Seriously, Salem did so much for him.

Is the next one Charlotte Corday? I'm not sure if you mentioned this, but in FGO, they made Sanson the one who executed Marie Antoinette instead of his son, Henri. In Orleans, Sanson under Jalter's Mad Enhancement acts like a total yandere for Marie Antoinette. He says he fell in love with her as she died and claims that they were intimate due to their relation of killer and victim. He relishes the chance to kill her again. As a regular Servant, he tries to woo her conventionally and fights with Mozart and d'Eon for her affections.

NikNak completely forgot what century these events are happening in when he said that you would be covering one of those names of the revolutionaries who were executed. I believe you were talking about Desmoulins, but NikNak most definitely misheard that. He mistook that name for a Frenchman from a bit over 400 years earlier.

Since the hint for next time is 4th of July, it's probably a servant from america, and looking at the American servants not counting the ones that already had a video, the only ones left are Voyager and Geronimo. And between those two my guess is that it will be Voyager.

The Month of France continues with Charles-Hernri Sanson! I don't really have much to say about this guy other than he was the last Servant I was expecting to see in the Solomon movie, especially with a speaking line. But hey, good for him! 22:25 - Well, he *is* a 2-star Servant. They typically aren't fancy in comparison to their rarer peers. As for this week's hint: I'm lost on this one, mainly cause I don't know any American Servants related to the Independence Day/the ratification of the Declaration of Independence. MAYBE Voyager? But he was launch around September.

It's just any American Servant for the 4th of July, they did it the pass couple years with Edison+Tesla and Calamity Jane. The only ones left that they haven't covered are Voyager, Geronimo, and Billy the Kid, so it's one of those three.

9:25 I am confused. Which Sanson executed Marie Antoinette? As far as I can tell (from English and Russian translations, that I could find), "Memoirs of the Sansons; Or, Seven Generations of Executioners" places both Charles-Henri Sanson and his son, Henri Sanson, as participants (Henri was the one tie Marie's hands, Charles-Henri was ordered immediately after the dead to present the head), but it doesn't say who operated the guillotine. French Wikipedia is downright silly about it. The "execution of Marie-Antoinette" page says in its text that it was Henri Sanson, but lists "Charles-Henri Sanson (executioner)" in the short info table on the right. Charles-Henri Sanson's page is even funnier, containing these two bits (Google translated): "Although he was never a sympathizer of the monarchy, he hesitated before executing the king, even being persuaded until the last moment that supporters of the royalty would try to free the deposed sovereign. Queen Marie-Antoinette, meanwhile, was beheaded by his son Henri." "[Henri] is sometimes falsely attributed with the execution of Marie-Antoinette and Fouquier-Tinville when he was only his father's assistant at this time (1795)." Judging by the discussion page, it's been like that for at least 13 years.

There are very few American Servants left. It's either Geronimo or Billy the Kid. I imagine you'd have given a different hint for Voyager.

ATM the livestreams are just video games: Fate/Extra with NikNak (the cameraman and co-host of Sekhie Reacts) and Sekhie (the star of this video series) with Baldur's Gate 3, some FGO, and whatever game she's feeling like playing that time. Btw, if you want to learn a little more about what their Fate DnD game is like, look up the video "Our Weird FGO Dungeons and Dragons Game" on their channel.
