Great fight! :) 2:53-2:54 I like to get in an extra hit when he's doing that sorta move. Same thing when he sorta curves his sword towards you but the curved sword one is easier to get that extra hit in. Doesn't really make much of a difference when using the spear but when just using the sword I think it'd be effective. 3:22 that was a great reaction. Its always awkward when he's doing his moves not facing you. That's when it becomes dangerous.

Thank you! 🙏 Squeezing a slash there is a good idea, I might try to work that into my system. And yeah, I don't know how I timed that deflect, I think that was as much luck as skill :P

Phase one is so fun with this method, but then two kinda brings down the mood without prosthetics and cool stuff IMO

It is, mixed in with some jank as Guardian Ape misses so damn often. And phase 2, yeah, idno, I don't like it sword only either, maybe it's the screams and all of Ape's little hesitations.

​@@jamesarthurkimbell That's a fair way to look at it, though I'm partial to clean and consistent fights. That said though, it might be a good opening to charge a prosthetic or CA, so maybe I'll mess with that :)
