Fights were Style equals efficiency. That's Sekiro for me. Sure, you can beat everything with the base-moveset alone, but i allready have Ideas to ease up Snake-Eyes even Further once i reached them on my second Playthrough with Nightjar-Reversal.

@Big Booty Tech Girl If you have to skill for it, after using the lazulite flame, attack and it'll imbue your sword with a buff. Works for any of the elemental tools, like the normal flame spray imbuing fire and purple shield with the divine confetti buff.

@Big booty White girl lazulite is just the upgrade (sacred flame) to the flame vent you can craft. Using the living force upgrade you can set your blade on fire with flame vent, for this upgrade it basically just gives a divine confetti buff/ bonus damage. Looks cool tho

I love how much attention is paid to style points in this game. the lazulite flames are arguably less practical than the okinawa flames because they don't cause burn, but damn if those blue flames don't look cool as hell

@@hussino5851 he can be really easy and be really difficult the only thing that you’ll really worry is those whirlwind strike that damages you a little bit when blocking took me 6-7 tries to defeat him

Its all about timing. Ive beat the game 4 times and gotten the platinum. You can cheese him using Ceremonial Canto and Loaded Umbrella, but that stops working around playthrough 3 due to the scaling. Hardesst bosses are in Shura and Return endings

Lazulite doesn't give you the +1 attack that divine confetti does, only the bonus damage against apparitions. But by hell does it give you style points

The umbrella absorbs projectiles, like the ones at 0:59.

@@Kosm64 Also Kosm, the umbrella has levels to the slashes. The more damage you absorb with it, the more damage and slashes it will do. You can tell because midway into the vid, after you absorbed Isshin's gunshots, the umbrella was smoking on your arm! :>

Just use the combat art "Sakura dance" and you will automatically reflect the lightning without taking chip damage. You can get sakura dance by defeating inner Genichiro in the gauntlet.

maybe it just for aesthetic I think. purple + yellow. I believe damage from flame lazulite is specifically for apparition type of enemies (e.g. headless, shichimen warrior, corrupted monk, headless ape, true monk third phase)

@@mrkenzo21I think the lazulite sacred flame adds 25% to all damage just as divine confetti does. The extra damage to apparitions is something like 200%. Okinaga's flame vent only adds the fire proc and is just about impossible to proc against regular bosses.
