Playstation 5 is not an ideal recording software, so I had to re-stage the Genichiro fight in the reflection of strength. He is a stronger form of the boss in the reflection so it should be easier in the actual battle. I also re-mapped my L1 and R1 to my L2 and R2 to get easier sequencing down with the combat arts.
The strategy is to start with Mortal Draw, I did not have the enhanced version but it will still work without spirit emblems, but as a weaker version. Run behind Genichiro's initial attack and hit mortal draw on him twice, push towards him and jump on his head. YOU MUST START THE NEXT MORTAL DRAW ATTACK WHEN YOU ARE IN THE AIR! Repeat this until you break his posture. If he swings his sword above his head and knocks you just continue to jump.
When he is dead, and just as Isshin pops out, hit pause and switch to double Ichimonji.
Isshin's first stage is the easiest, just HOLD BLOCK for the three attacks and hit with 2 Ichimonji strikes. Sometimes he will use mikiri counter attacks which you should just tap dodge to do, no directional stick, or jump on his head.
When you deal his first death blow, hit pause again and switch combat art to Whirlwind strike.
Phase 2 and 3 are the same with the addition of Lightning attacks for phase 3. The trick is to run around a bunch until he does a dive attack, and go behind and swipe him, either whirlwind or just normal attack. Watch for mikiri counter's you can perform and lightning reversals if you feel confident in those. The bullets you can easily strafe if you are running in a semi-circle around him.
DON'T FORGET TO DO DOUBLE DEATHBLOWS. When he is slumped over lock onto him and deal ONE MORE DEATHBLOW to wrap up this fight.
Sorry about the quality, converting a webm to 720p sucks and my boss battle recording was corrupted on ps5 for a second around the 7 minute mark. Thanks and be patient! You will get it eventually.
