The way he walks away at 11:00 despite having seen the animation countless times just for the sake of breathing personality and cinematic character into an already incredible scene. Throughout the entire video, each parry, dodge, perfectly timed attack, prosthetic tool, and combat art are used, in addition to being practical in-game mechanics, as artistic devices that push their own stories through the screen. The impossible skill and familiarity with the game needed to execute and think of the various attacks and counters used are also obviously absolutely absurd. There is too much insanity to cover in a short comment! Happy new year, and brutally beautiful as always Ongbal!

Thank you for everything ONGBAL. You really are an inspiration for so many Sekiro players, myself included. The way you keep pushing this game to its limits is a sight to behold. Watching your videos is like watching a spectacular piece of art instead of a video game. You are a huge part of Sekiro community and I hope that we can see more of you in the future!
@fantiu12 жыл бұрын
Seeing multiple combat arts being used fluidly is a sight to behold and goes to show there's more improvement that can be made to the game as a whole. 3 years since Sekiro release and imo the game still holds up purely by the quality of (most of )its boss fights and its straightforward yet difficult to master combat, and with mods spicing things up, its a beauty to watch. I think that's what makes me enjoy your Sekiro vids more than the other SoulsBorne games videos, its the sheer spectacle and quality of these boss fights, your execution and interesting combo of tools and combat arts used that make it a pleasure to watch.
@arjitmalik29812 жыл бұрын
I think the most important aspects of sekiro being a masterpiece is the fast combat and the fact that posture will never break as long as you deflect ( imagine having to manage your posture ), you can challenge bosses infinitely ( ahh!, the pleasure ), the moveset of prosthetic tools - I mean developers have to put their all if they want to work on sekiro 2, cuz sekiro has raised the bar of pleasure and stylish design to a level that seems impossible to acheive

ONGBAL is (for me) what Sekiro needed to have a bit of the same recognition as other From Software games, DS1 to 3 have been all covered in such depth by speed runs and videos showcasing perfectly executed combats leaving Sekiro in this state of "It's a good From game" and nothing much However ONGBAL (again in my opinion) has filled that missing piece that made Sekiro be seen as more than just a DS in Japan, all of the amazing music, ambience, sound effects, combat mechanics working perfectly and even mods have been able to be showcased by one of the best players of this game I have ever seen. His video of Lady Maria and Genichiro was what made me learn their patterns and finally beat them on my own, as too to change my mind of some bosses I found hollow at first. Thank you ONGBAL for an amazing year of Sekiro content
