Great video. Thank you for uploading and cant wait for you to show case international prospects for other countries as well. Sad to see China, although has massive population and player base, doesn't possess the necessary system fundamentally to produce exciting players from grounds up, especially incapable coaching staffs. Yao Ming was extremely lucky. The Asian's strong intelligent and finesse play style should give us some excitement. The Chinese education system trains rigid minded players who lacks imaginations and on the spot creativity. Hopefully with new educational reform, new generations exposed to new life styles and Yao Ming broadened vision from his NBA career, China B-ball can produce players that's as exciting or better than Yao.
@59DGO595 жыл бұрын
Zach Zheng Also, chinese people don’t have good genetics for basketball on average. They are small (even more in the south), and west africans have the best genetics for quickness and muscular power, which explains why there’s so many black people in the NBA

Also if basketball ever gets as popular as soccer in the rest of the world (long shot I know), then we will be passed very quickly in terms of dominating things like the All-Star game, Olympics, etc. The way they train young athletes is at another level than what our average elite athlete is exposed to from ages 8-18 because of our stupid archaic system of "amateurism".
@TokyoBalletReprise6 жыл бұрын
A Khan Serbians are starting to become OP at Ball. Canadians are also trying to claim it back.
@jojoisgeexp6 жыл бұрын
Don’t kid yourself. The reason why our soccer system is lacking is because of split national attention with so many more lucrative sports: hockey, basketball, football, baseball. We have the most physically gifted talent pool of any nation so we’ll always excel at sports where physicality is almost everything like basketball and football.
@supremedreamsproductionsti36006 жыл бұрын
America has the most talent when it comes to sports. We suck at soccer because no one really cares that much for soccer here in America which is kinda sad because soccer is a great sport and hands down the most popular sport world wide. We dominate in most sports but those are sports that were invented by Americans to begin with. Soccer is more of an ancient sport so if America dominated in soccer it would deff be cool but we’re not sweating it at all. We’re more than ok with games like football baseball and basketball.
@yudahel85216 жыл бұрын
Tito Cardona Exactly, I think if Americans would get into soccer that we'll definitely dominate as well.
@Brqinstorm6 жыл бұрын
Stop lying to yourselves. First of all, soccer is probably the least athlete dominated collective sport, in no other sport slow unathletic guys are as represented as in soccer. Secondly, the U.S is not just underperforming because they don't care enough nation wide, the U.S is barely a relevant soccer country in the international landscape. You're miles behind a country like Australia that plays Rugby and Australian football dominantly. So don't come and tell me the U.S has less soccer players than Australia. What cripples the U.S in soccer more than anything is your amateur system, its the same system that fosters almost excluively supreme athletes with no fundamentals at all. Look at the typical PF C out of college in the U.S and compare him to any European big at the same age. The first will most likely look like Deandre Jordan or Dwight Howard, the other one more like Boris Diaw. And if the NBA game is dominated by athletes, Soccer is not. So that's why the U.S will never be relevant in soccer, ever.

The thing is that even if France improves or other nation improves.. United States isn't like last time taking things for granted; they now have scouts around to scout talents and Nike is often at the fore-fronts :D United States today ahve a pool of talent in their age representative and even in the senior team.. even if France/Germany/former Soviet Union bloc nation/Russia improve whilst America is also improving as well. I think that USA will be the top still despite the progress of other nations in basketball...
@59DGO595 жыл бұрын

Realistically the best bball outside the US is in ex-Yu. Anyone who knows anything about bball cannot deny that. If Yugoslavia was still around bball would just be plain boring because every year it would be US against Yug in the finals. At the Euros, it would actually be tragic, probably the same equivalent to the US bball team winning the Olympics every time. I mean just look at the number of NBA players: Jokic, Vucevic, Dragic, Doncic, Saric, Bogdanovic (Pacers), Bogdanovic (Kings), Bjelica, Nurkic, Teodosic, Marjanovic, Hezonja, Mirotic, Teletovic to name just a few. US would beat them max 10 points difference.
