Not 100% sure the question is from Selangor Trial Paper. However, I find this question might be challenging for some of the SPM students, so decided to make a short video explain about it . Hope students find it helpful.

i actually have another way of solving this. From cos 2x, i can find the value of sin²x and cos²x. Then we can use tan²x = sin²x / cos²x . So, tan²x = 9/4. So, tan(x) = ± 3/2. and we take tan(x) = -3/2 because its in the second quadrant
