I love Sundays, time to relax and get out, although for over 25 years I worked on Sundays, I always managed to get out when I could even if I was at lunch time. This week I visit Selby Abbey. This stunning medieval building. The guide was very helpful giving me the history over the years since the 11th century. Your company is always welcome and appreciated on my Sunday outings. Really amazing structure. Ever since I was a kid, I thought churches should be humble, like Jesus. The massive amounts of money that went into them could have been used to help the poor, orphans, and widows. They're certainly beautiful to look at now though.😃. Awesome capture of the 2 bees. 😊 i can see how religion has carried on for so long. It is magnificent and tangible. We are fairly free from religion here in Oz, weve got nature instead. Our most sacred site is Uluru. Uluru, or Ayers Rock, is a massive sandstone monolith in the heart of the Northern Territory. Uluru is sacred to indigenous Australians and is thought to have started forming around 550 million years ago. When you stand near that, you get a real sense of the eternity of time. It is very spiritual. I went to the cathedral in Prague castle and got that same sense of time. That sense of time is about the only thing I like about churches. All our blossoms are out! Weird to see a bumble bee on a flower at the same time. Awesome 😊😊 Belinda

@@BeFree-BeFrugal yes those at the ending of your post were beautiful. On the way to the coast, I travel through 100 year old archways of poplar trees. I absolutely love it. Trees are stunning.
