Wasn't a big fan of Killjoys. It blew my mind how SyFy cancelled Dark Matter and The Expanse after 3 seasons, but continued Killjoys for 2 more seasons. Luckily Amazon bought the rights to The Expanse and continued it for 3 more seasons.

Dark Matter was one hell of a good show that got canceled without actually finishing the story arc. Just like many good sci-fi shows over the last 50 years. Hollywood and production companies just love to screw over good Sci-fi for garbage ideological garbage.

Some of my favorites as well are all the Star Wars shows, Babylon 5, anything Star Trek (the classics were better though), anything Stargate, Roswell, Slider, anything connected to the current Marvel Universes on tv (as well as the movies), Stranger Things, just to name a few favorites. It's hard making a top 10 because there's so many good ones.

The Expanse is incredible. Love it and would highly recommend it. Dark Matter is really good. I only got through part of Season 2 but would love to see the rest. Resident alien, Lost in space, Russian doll and Legion are very good and well worth the watch. I am a Star Wars fan and Bad Batch is awesome and there are several other Star Wars series worth watching.

I'm not a video game person but Halo is one of the best sci fi shows I've seen in a while and I'm only on the 5th ep of S1. Id definitely recommend it to anyone that loves sci-fi stuff.

The Expanse. Goes unmentioned that it's based on a series of nine books. Six of these were adapted to make the six seasons of the show. There is a 30 year gap between the 6th and 7th book, and so a pause makes sense. When Amazon is done wasting money on the Rings of Power perhaps they'll return to finance the last three seasons just waiting to be made. The authors of the books were in control of the series adaptation and while they made changes to characters and plotting the TV show is some of the best you'll find.

I loved the Expanse and wish they would continue it, but I'm not going to knock Rings of Power. That is a really good show too and I'm looking forward to the next installment. People want to whine that it is not true to Tolkien, but none of the Lord of the Rings franchise is really true to Tolkien's books. The movies and the series are all still good though.

Loved the 4400. Spoiler Unfortunately it was cancelled unfinished after 4 seasons and ended on a Cliffhanger. Of will he or won't he? There was an attempted reboot in 2021 but was nowhere near as good and cancelled after 1 season.

@biocapsule7311 Ah yes, quite right, it was 4 seasons. Yes, such a shame it ended on a cliffhanger, just when it was getting more interesting. I watched the pilot of the reboot and was utterly disgusted by it. Couldn't watch any more... There are a couple of books that apparently continue where the original left off, but they seem to be rather expensive, at least on Amazon...

Upload was awesome. So of course, it was cancelled after Season 3. The good news is there is some closure and you won't be disappointed. Also good news, you can binge watch the 3 seasons now. For those that aren't familiar, it's a Sci-fi romantic comedy or as they say, Dramady.

Legion - was kind of stupid. The 4400 - glad you chose this version. The original was actually really good. The remake, was pretty bad. Russian Doll - never heard of it. It sounds kind of dumb. Childhood's End - it was decent. Not fantastic, but it wasn't bad. Upload - haven't seen it, but it looks mildly interesting. Resident Alien - haven't seen it. I've watched the trailer and a few reviews on it. Seems a bit silly for my tastes. The Bad Batch - it's okay for family viewing. Episodes are too short and it's hard to get too involved in it, but the kids love it and it is tolerable. Lost In Space - this one was surprisingly good. Netflix produces mostly garbage, but they did a good job with this reboot of a classic. It does require some parental caution though. Even though it was marketed as family friendly, it is not a good show for young children as there are a few blood and gore scenes. Dark Matter - wasn't bad. The Expanse - was really good. Ironically it stared about the same time as Kill Joys and Dark Matter. All 3 shows were on Syfy. Syfy really screwed up by cancelling The Expanse and Dark Matter after only 3 seasons in favor of Kill Joys. Kill Joys was horrible and it made no sense that Syfy continued that show, instead of The Expanse or even Dark Matter. Luckily, Amazon bought the rights to The Expanse and continued the show for 3 more seasons on Prime.

Stopped watching. #4 Not a fan of adult animation. #3 Lost in Space I was a kid in the 60s. I kept hoping to see the Mum find Lassie. #2 Great Show wrongly cancelled. I hate developers who do that. # 1 Fantastic show. Based on great books. 6 good seasons. Could have gone on but a real life key actor crossed a line in real life & his character was eliminated. A key character who made it all the way in the books. Much talk about bringing it back however the actions of eliminating the TV character has by default abandoned the book’s plot in my opinion.
