In the US, clothes pins are pretty much obsolete/unused. everything goes in the dryer.

@@CainLupus It really depends on where you live in the US. Saying that's the case for the entire country is just... dumb. Plus I guarantee you'll find them for sale in every big shop. And if they're for sale, they're being bought. There are also plenty of people who chose to hang clothing to dry outside because it makes them fresher. Also there are a lot of materials that you can't put in a dryer and have to hang: Wool, silk, fur, neoprene, spandex, lycra. There are also specific items of clothing that shouldn't be put in a dryer either: Suits, stockings, tights, delicate lingerie, bras, footwear, swimwear, anything knitted/woven. Lastly items too large, such a duvets(comforters/quits). Sounds like you don't do much laundry either... That or all your clothing is cheap junk and you never wash your bedding.

Honestly the whole Pokemon/gun thing reminds me of another.. Completely different "kids" thing that had guns at the start but has become a bit of a forgotten thing ( especially among its fans ) is Batman. At the very beginning of the existence of said character, Batman used Tommy-guns and yes, he killed villains. Two things that most people to-day would claim he would never ever do. ( Even though one of those two "taboos" gets broken far more than the other now. Since Batman still gets comics where he will kill someone every so often. Gun use is, oddly the only actual taboo he has ever since he stopped using Tommy-guns. )
