Thanks for making this video!!! Wish there was a video like this for me to have watched 15 years ago when I started my journey with electric fencing and bovines, sheep, goats. Your point about buying the biggest energizer you can afford is SPOT ON!! I started with a 6 joule, which I'm still using btw, and wish that I had known about the larger energizers on the market at that time. If I were to do it all over again I would have purchased the largest 120v energizer available which at that time I think was either 24 or 32 joules. I'm currently on the fence, pun intended, about getting a 24 or 42 joule energizer. Two different manufacturers but both of them can be used with remotes that have built in fault finders. I can't WAIT to get an energizer with a remote. Not having to run back to an energizer at the barn or calling someone to turn it on or off will be quite the time and human resource saver. Love the content!

Are you using Preimer 1 fence there & what hight?

This is actually @gallagheranimalmanagement sheep ne fence - it's 35 inches tall. I have another video on it if you look in my channel video archives. I like them a lot. If you're interested in, trying it out, I do have a code for Gallagher in the description for this video or the other one too.

How many jules

@@JamesBrown-ei8wc higher rates joules will typically put out more kw of energy, which is the measurement that is most important for keeping a strong fence. But it is also dependent on how much fencing the energizer is supplying as well -- that said most our energizers are at least 4 joules. Our higher rated ones will support more fence (8-15 joules).
