Thanks for the lesson, it's interesting to learn that there's a name for something I've been doing for years, though I'm sure Tosin has taken it far further than I ever did

It's the sort of thing I'd occasionally do intuativley at higher speeds, if I think I'm going to slop a note or something. But, yeah totally, Tosin seems to have really embraced it as a technique! What sort of stuff do you use it on??

@@JbfMusicGuitar I had to grab a guitar to figure out what I'd do! I do it if I'm trying to play faster than I really can, but also when I'm skipping strings - gives time for the plectrum to get where it needs to be. And since I play without a lot of gain, if I'm playing a repeated figure then I vary how some of the notes are sounded (picked, hammered, slid) to add a bit of subtle colour (or maybe to keep me from getting bored!).
