You can replace a bulb without taking the front off, but getting the clips to keep it in place is extreme difficult

@@MrJakewray yeah I took me over an hour to change the h7 the first (and only) time. Did the left side. No idé of its harder on the right side. Outside in the dark and no idé how to do it haha. Dropped the new h7 two times down all the way down but had just got a grabbing thing on a wire. Just changed the right back blinker bulb but it didn't help. Checked the old bulb and it looked OK. Will check the wires.

Some drama for a bulb change. I've done rhd drivers side no problem without removing the bumper but the passenger side is an absolute nightmare. Thinking to remove the battery and tray to give myself some room. Your way is definitely the correct way. Good video thank you

At least parking/side lights can be replaced on both sides without removing the bumper. You need chopsticks to fish the bulb out of the socket, and even then your hands will look like you've been handling angry cats. When putting the rubber cap back, you have to turn its edges "upside down" to make the cap flatter, then put it into the correct place, and only then "snap" the edges back.

Crap that's a lot of disassembly for removing the headlights. In my audi a2 1.2 tdi it's two torx from the top then I could just pull them out an change bulbs in seconds. I did manage to change bulb on my clio 3 (2011) in the dark with a headlight, a flashlight, a mirror and a grabbing hook thing on a wire and I'm happy I had the later thing as I twice dropped the bulb down on the engine cover😬. Never changed a bulb on a clio before and it took time and wasn't easy to see or access. But this video was good for me as a have bought a engine heater (hose type) and need access the hose from down under and maybe need to remove the front of the car :)

French car design: I can just get my battery put in super easy but you need 2 mechanics, an array of tools, the ability to dismantel your vehicle with the knowledge of a engineer just to put in a simple headlight. The most backwards designing in the world😂

You can do it but it takes a lot of pushing and scratches. I had a Volvo before this. Jesus that car was brilliant. The headlights were like a Lego, in and out in 1 minute. This is like rocket science

You don't have to remove all the block to change the light bulbs. If you look at it there are two lids, if you open them, you can access the lights. I just replaced one of mine.

You don't need to remove anything, simply open the bonnet and you can just remove the covers from the back of the headlights and switch the bulb it's a little bit awkward but you can do it, I just did mine took me 5min
