I worked security as an off-duty police officer in Del Rio, Texas during a concert she had there in the 1990's. My only contact with her was when she stepped off the tour bus - she looked straight into my eyes and broke into the most beautiful smile. No words, only the smile, which will always be emblazoned in my memory. Her smile was the most beautiful I had ever seen, and her eyes were full of life. R.I.P.

she filmed a video on the san antonio riverwalk. I was working in law enforcement and on foot patrol that day. my partner and i happened to be walking by and she asks do you think my butt looks big..while looking at us...she smiled and laughed. we were embarrassed and couldn't even respond...we just smiled back. she was like royalty....and and the same time so very genuine. that moment was priceless and i've had the opportunity to meet famous people from all around the world. none could hold a candle to her.

americans don’t really like latin music ... only reggeaton 😒. The worst music we have. We have great pop singers that they don’t know. We latins hear Lady gaga, Beyoncé and others but you americans don’t take the time to know Thalia, Laura Pausini, Monica Naranjo ...

I don’t think people understand how gorgeous Selena was, never have I ever seen anyone so beautiful before, this girl was serving FASHION, LOOKS, AND BODY GOALS!! I don’t think a lot of people understand that her talent is one of a kind, when she performed her music sounded exactly as the record, and that’s talent because these new artists in 2020 can’t even sing without auto tune to save their life. It’s so sad how a goddess entered this earth and was taken out, my heart will always go out to her husband chris, this is my favorite song ever. Long Live Selena Quintallia Perez❤️.

Probably the most beautiful and heartfelt song ever created. Qualifies that you just can’t fake, and only the most genuine and beautiful heart could ever write a song like that or be inspired to. It’s why it’s so hauntingly sad. You just can’t replace rare people or experiences like that. Even if a girl was ugly, hypothetically, if she wrote and recorded this song for you, and that wasn’t enough to immediately win you over forever, no matter what you thought before, then nothing anyone could do would ever be good enough. And if she got murdered, especially just a few weeks later, making it your final memories with her and the last song she would ever make before being taken from you forever in the cruelest way possible, then you could never completely heal from that or get over it. I wouldn’t want to get over it either. The sadness would at least remind you it was real and not just dreaming of her

I'm 40 now and loved her singing from my childhood. This was one of my favorite songs from her it always reminded us even as children we were loved. I'm positive Selena is in heaven with our father from all the love she gave her fans through her music. Rip Selena

my dear Selena, 25 years later and I still cant believe you are gone. Can you imagine the fear she felt when she was shot, bleeding out in the lobby of a motel alone without her family and husband. She probably knew in her head she would never see them again. I wonder what she wanted to say to them in those last moments. Thats the hardest part of death - the fact that everything you have ever known, your reality, your body, your family, your friends, places you've traveled, life's happy moments like graduations, weddings, traveling, all of that will forever end for you and the world will continue and millions of new humans will continue being born meanwhile you are dead and don't exist anymore. My heart aches for how her life ended. No one deserves that type of death. It is just crazy to think that her wound was so bad that not even modern medicine could have helped her. Yolanda shot her in a fatal place. She probably didnt even know or plan where to shoot her. She coincidentally shot her in the exact place to kill her. Bullet could have just as easily hit her somewhere insignificant like her calf or something. Makes me really think that your fate is really already determined, written in the stars. Anyway, now she is an immortal angel ❤️

I love this part 1:30 I find like a meaning to that lyrics “If you looked in my eyes, would you see what’s inside. Would you even care?”

Sitting here tears streaming down my face listening to her amazing voice. The world was a darker place when she was taken from us. RIP Selena.

worst part is she was killed by someone she trusted and it was an unlucky shot as if it had her anywhere else in her arm she would've survived.

Right?? So very, very sad. 😢💔 Selena was a very talented singer. I watched the movie about her life last night. It was very well done but so sad at the same time. 😢💔 RIP, Selena. Gone but definitely never forgotten. 🙏🙏
