This woman was so beautiful on the inside and out, and was as real as real could get! A lot of the artists today are so fake and have fake body parts. Not Selena! Every part of her was real inside and out . Miss her so much! She will never be forgotten...and her legacy, huge impact, and music still lives on! It just makes me sick what happened to her! Always wonder about what could've been had she never been taken from us. Just think about how much more Selena would've given to us. She was already a huge international star when she passed away, but she would would've become so much bigger, and Selena had many talents, she had her own boutiques, designed all her own clothes, as well as her stage costumes, she also had a line of perfume coming out before she passed, and I'm sure she would've had a makeup line at some point too. I also think of all the great music we would've had from her too. Its such a shame that such a beautiful soul, and so talented, was tragically taken from us. The good ones really do die young. It’s so sad that she died. She didn’t do anything she was so kind she was so talented. It’s sad her husband her family. Her dream of having a barn and a house with Chris and having kids are gone. I never felt so sad in my life I never met her and I’m so sad about her death. She was so beautiful she’s sounds so beautiful. If she didn’t die she would have a beautiful family with Chris and it’s now all gone bc someone was not happy bc they got exposed. She was only 23 years old. We all know she’s in a better place with her kids and her dreams. The people in heaven are lucky to have a Mexican American singer.

I definitely agree with you. I’m currently 23 years old the age that she had when she passed away and I’m full of so many hopes and dreams that I want to accomplish with my husband. One of them having kids and a family of my own some day and when I think of my dreams I get so sad because she wasn’t able to accomplish that herself.

But damn, now that I'm 23 and imagining myself pass at this age I can't imagine all the possibilities I'd miss out on. Words can't explain how much pain and hurt I feel to see such a beautiful young woman pass up so much. Rest in love beautiful Selena. Your music and serenity will forever live on in our hearts! 민호 Sole I know what you mean I'm 32 now but when I was 23 I remember that was around the time I started listening to Selena's music again and being that age I did reflect a lot on how young 23 was to die. I reflected a lot on how if I were to die at this age would I feel like I had accomplished everything I wanted?Or do everything I wanted to do or said everything I needed to say? It's funny but I was 10 in 1995 when Selena died and back then 23 seemed rather old to me.

Actually, SELENA got to accomplish a lot before she passed. She was the Queen of TEJANO music. She won multiple awards including her first Grammy. She got married and her English crossover Album was very successful and I don't think it was bc of her death either. How many twentythree year olds can say they've accomplished all this? Did she get to complete all her dreams? Of course not but she did accomplished what most don't at this age. Rip angel.💝

lana harper - Amen. Gloria Estefan was huge at the time. Madonna was rolling as well. Selena would have got their attention. Her voice blew theirs away. LOL a booty and body better than J-Lo, probably prettier, and she could sing? In another dimension they're being treated to Selena in her mid 40's. Loved the line in her movie when her father supposedly told the record execs that she was ready. God bless Gomez, but Quintinilla was gonna roll like a Mack truck with a full load.

Losing Reneé nearly cost her her life... she has never been the same. That's the extreme power of love! Her children kept her alive, or we'd have lost her long ago. As it is, they barely made it. This is what the two-become-one scenario means. Losing the one means cutting your entire soul in half...which half goes? Always the best half!

We all know that ugly troll was jealous of her!! She knew her time with Selena was coming to an end so she decided to do the most drastic thing; if she couldn’t be around Selena then nobody else should. Pure selfishness!

Yesterday, I read complete the Chris Perez's book, "To Selena with love", what a wonderful story!!! Thanks to that, I met a diferent Selena's version; so adorable. She was a little girl in a body of a woman, she loved the simple things of the ordinary life, her soul was absolutely pure and her heart was full of love, inocence and compassion for all the people, I met Selena the person, the real girl in words of Chris, not Selena the superstar that all of us we know. After I finished reading the book, I started listening to random music and this song started playing. Suddenly, I felt an inexplicable feeling in my chest, in my heart and I started crying a lot. As I read the book, I imagined every scene written by Chris in my mind, and it was beautiful. My tears were at the thought of Chris's terrible pain in losing Selena, and that I felt his pain myself, as if I had lost my best friend or sister without ever having met her. It was weird and beautiful. We love you Selena 💜💜💜💜

The only famous person I every cried for when I heard the news of her passing...It still happens sometimes. Every family has one that shines super bright. The one that everyone loves. The one that is just special just because of their spirit. That is how I felt about her...She was a bridge for Latin and American culture....Only every once in a while does someone come along that can cross over and make a connection between cultures like she was doing..She was getting it done. Oh, crap I am crying again.

There are 3 singers on the top of my head that I definitely remember bawling my eyes out and this isn't to disregard any other singers that were also big that passed away because honestly I felt sad for them as well. Anyways when I say bawling, I mean shedding crocodile tears and snot running like a faucet down my nostrils. These singers are Aaliyah, Michael Jackson and of course Selena Quintanilla-Pérez.
