Selena sang so good in both English and Spanish, the power and confidence and emotion in her voice is what is missing from alot of singers today. She is in the same caliber of Whitney Houston, Aretha, Celine, Gloria Estefan, Michael Jackson, ..unique and irreplaceable.

English is her native language and it’s crazy she sings great in Spanish but when speaking it she had trouble. That’s the crazy thing about the voice how it hides her American accent when When she sings in Spanish.

The words are supposed to be "sad and free" because in the song she tells the guy to drop her off by herself. I think Martha Wash may have intended different words or she might just like the way "said I'm free" sounds cause it sounds like thats what she says when she performs the song now.
