Maybe just me but... there's a certain "heaviness" with Selena. It's hard for me to put in words but, best I can describe it: a pessimism - but with underlying hope. Idk if that makes any sense or not. I do know she's been through a lot (both mentally & physicall) so maybe it's just that. I hope she's okay though...not just okay but, truly happy. She does 100% appear to have a good & authentic heart.💛

So I don't really know much about her " body of work". I can name maybe......3 songs of her that i know. I've never bought any of her albums. Never seen an episode of wizards of waverly place. In the first interview she wasn’t in a good place emotionally, so that explains why she was more serious and mellow and kinda self deprecating and with a sarcastic humor. Although she is like that normally, but in the first interview you could feel that she was a little too much and her mood wasn’t good because of everything she was going through in her personal life. I’m glad she’s in a good place right now though 💜

I think you got Selena pretty well. I only discovered her recently because she is doing Only Murders in the Building with Steve Martin and Marty Short and surprisingly I find her very articulate, natural, sincere and self deprecating almost.
