To be honest the time on the video scared me so I watched other reactions....but you are the first one I’ve seen that takes it seriously. This song hits so hard when you have felt this. It’s hard because while (at least for me) you’re learning to love yourself, you’re also fighting the “I’m not enough” and “why am I not lovable” and even more than that. This song gave me healing I didn’t know I needed. Have an ex that got addicted to heavy drugs...that was the hardest battle of my life so far. I lost myself and my value. Dropped out of college, lost most of my friends, got extremely underweight. So I have luckily hit this point from that, but I also have a father that chose a woman over loving me...I’m about to get married, and the father side has REALLY been on my chest lately. This song is so calming but emotional.

The beauty of this song is she's not complaining she is not bitter she's made her peace with it and she's letting it go she's letting it go but she's doing it in a very healthy and honest and almost loving way. It hurts because we feel what she feels and part of her is still adjusting to it but it's very real. Her pain has changed her but she isn't bitter or weak.. it's made her stronger,perhaps more cautious certainly wiser. And in the end her pain has made her a better person from the lessons she took from her pain. So there's a lesson in that for all of us because she is singing to us, not to complain but to share her choice and lesson in the wisdom of her understanding. Broken hearts mend but broken people can get lose in their pain, she choose to mend. Learning from painful experiences it's a part of growing up we decide if it makes us stronger or weaker, needy or more secure, petulant or patient in our nature. In the end we decide who we are and how we are. I didn't mean to be so wordy this was a very very powerful song. It almost breaks your heart and fills it at the same time.

I know exactly what your saying when you it’s so hard to describe the depth and rawness of this video. Anyone who listens to this video have to be able to understand that this is coming from a PLACE . A Place that’s so deep inside a persons heart and soul that can only be accessible when you realize after being hurt and find yourself again. It’s the kinda of hurt where usually you feel a great heaviness oh f deceit and disrespect from someone you never ever in a million years thought could or would , ever hurt you like that. She actually wrote this over a year ago but did not feel comfortable btekeading it until she knew the feelings she was feeling were authentic and not just fueled by being emotional neither hurt and anger. So .... she waited. She released it to let her fans know she was ok and that many people could relate to it, I mean it’s clearly in many ways about Justin but also she said she was in a place where she felt like she could not always be herself in her career without being criticized which was keeping her from being her authentic self and she was just not happy always having to worry about how others felt when she would have something to say. So she just decided one day she wasn’t going to do that any longer and she was going to say things she had. Always wanted to say to helper heal. So here you have it. I just can’t stop watching and listening to it because it is just put together so perfectly and all shot with only the new a iPhone .

This is so true... I had to walk away from my best friend because it was not healthy for me. 27 years of friendship but over time I lost myself in the process of trying to "keep the peace". When I would express my feelings I would be told "I'm too sensitive" which is obviously not a compliment. Instead of inquiring or even empathizing my feelings would be shamed or criticized so I learned to withhold how I was feeling naturally because to get rejection, turning the tables (gaslighting) or harsh criticism hurt deeply. The nail in the coffin was when I finally expressed to her that I love her at the same time if every time when I share what I am going through you feel the need to tell me what I should or should not do, and it's not that I ask for advice, it is unsolicited. I expressed to her if that is what is going to happen I will have to minimize what I share. She did not like that (setting a boundary), she immediately came back at me. When I initially told her I had to talk to her and told her our last convo left a sour taste in my mouth she responded back by saying "I know" and I was like Wow in my head. She knew and had no desire to address that, RED FLAG! Lack of empathy or care, and for someone you claim is your best friend. Long story short I had to cut ties with her. That happened in 2015 and I am still feeling the effects of it. We reconnected one point for 2 months but I noticed the dynamic was still the same. Telling me if you wouldn't have said XYZ I wouldn't have done XYZ. Sounds familiar with a man saying if you would have cleaned the dishes I wouldn't have hit you. Not ownership of actions. So when you say it can relate to all relationships you are right.
