Such a good reaction! Justin is an idiot. I fully believe he proposed to Selena first, maybe at his dad’s wedding where they were spotted together right before they last broke up. There were pictures of her comforting him on steps so I can just imagine what they were talking about. He prob proposed or at least talked about doing it soon, she said no because she wanted to take her time, and he ran off with someone who he knew would say yes right away. From personal experience I believe that when you hurt so much and you lose yourself trying to be what the other person needs, so they don’t lack anything, even when you hurt that’s very difficult. When u take the time to step back and realize who you are and we’re before that person definitely changes your perspective and sometimes the relationship changed you so much that you don’t even remember what life was like without that person which makes it even harder to leave something toxic behind. It feels like forcing a puzzle piece where it doesn’t fit and thinking if you force it a little bit more or shape it to the fitting maybe the piece will look complete. The best part is when you let your pain heal and you get better, you become happy to the point we’re you don’t remember why you let yourself go through that, when you finally realize you’re in a great place and you finally learned what love is, love for yourself. The kind of self love that you can’t explain but it shows, it doesn’t only mature you but it lets others know that if they want you they need to learn to love you maybe a little more then you love yourself if possible.

Im literally crying sm while watching with you and I’ve already seen it 5 times. my ex just broke up with me after being together for a year. And Im only a junior in high school so Ik I have my whole life ahead of me. But i love that boy so much. he wasnt the best boyfriend I have to admit that . I’m not close with my family and deal with my own demos and when I found him I felt like my heart was complete and I felt like I found my missing piece . he decided to leave me two weeks ago for honestly no reason and blocked me from everywhere so I have no communication with him what so ever . I do see him at school and it’s awkward because sometimes we make eye contact. The relationship was toxic but I loved him sm that I didn’t even care abt that. and now that it’s over it feels like he never loved me and i feel like an actual clown/ fool. He’s at school laughing and having fun with his fake “friends” so I try to put on a fake smile and show no emotion. I can relate to the song 110% I feel like Selena, like a fool. She gave all her strength in the relationship while Justin seems like he doesn’t care. And that’s my same situation. Ik Selena had many years with him and I can’t imagine her pain. thank you if you read all this. Feels good to let it out

It would've been ideal if he treated her better, I just don't know Justin's intentions and if they're good. I didn't know how bad he hurt her until I watched the video and did some research. It's horrible because she's so sweet. It's confusing because I really thought he wouldn't hurt her. Your reaction is spot on. I can see your frustration from Selena's pain.
