I think a lot of people forget that Selena was also dealing with a lot of health issues and had just had a kidney transplant when she got back with Justin that last time. She was still recovering when they broke up again which kind of doubles the hurt when you think someone loves you and is going to be there for you.

I think the one good thing that came out of this last break up is that Justin realized what a spoiled narcissistic asshole he was. He felt terribly shamed and guilty that his treatment of her caused her to be so emotionally upset her immune system crashed after her transplant that she had to be hospitalized and then she needed to get mental health inpatient treatment. He had to take a good look in the mirror and probably didn’t like what he saw, knew he was not a good person and probably became depressed himself. I hope he continues his own therapy and comes out of it with a renewed empathy and compassion for others. Selena certainly has persevered over everything and I am proud of her.

I agree with you sir when someone is toxic to another person it will come back to bite them. I have never before heard her sing but after this song I will check out all of her work. Even during what were supposed to be her high points in her life with Justin, or her "chorus," Justin was off key, meaning he was not tuned in to her needs or wants or in sync with her. Through her career, since the "Selena vs Miley" days she has been THE selected target of hate/bigotry from an overwhelming mass of various fan bases, which brought Severe Depression to her, created Insomnia, started dealing with Lupus effects, and, not only one kidney transplant, but also a FOLLOW UP operation because the transplant kidney started to fail and that made her stressful--not saying she wasn't before. People also forget she lost a VERY dear friend in a meet-and-greet in Florida from a crazed fan gun shooting: Christina Grimmie. This is A LOT to deal with, specially for a humble and kind and good-hearted person like Selena, who is very passionate and compassionate about all things she cares about.

Jamal, years ago she had a song out where Justin sang the chorus...badly...not wanting her to shine. The song was called "Can't Steal our Love". There's the line in this song, 'made me think I deserved it in the thick of healing', that nobody seems to have caught yet. Jamel, maybe you know about this or maybe you don't know this, so I will try to express something in as neutral a way as I know how: Selena ALMOST DIED; she came down with an illness while she was under tons of stress after a breakup and business things falling to pieces. This illness very rapidly ruined her health and eventually started to shut her kidneys down. One of her besties (her roommate at the time) turned out to be a MATCH for Selena's kidneys! The process was handled VERY QUICKLY and surgery was performed in a matter of days of her friend finding out they could donate to her. During all of this, guess who was still giving Selena loads of crap to deal with? Before, during and after, while she was still healing from nearly having DIED, this idiot was and still is causing her all kinds of problems. At least, that's my take on that one line in the song. A single line that means SO MUCH. So, here is where I get into philosophy or religion or whatever. You can stop reading now or take it with a grain of salt if you want, but I will not be swayed since I have all the proof I need about the situation. Selena told her best friend/ roommate what was going on about Sel's health issues and WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT, this Angel on Earth of a bestie/ roomie went and got herself tested and they were a match! In my opinion, this was NOTHING SHORT of a MIRACLE that I PERSONALLY believe was handed down from God, where one of her best friends, so close that they were ROOMMATES WAS A DONOR MATCH for her. There is NO other way to explain this. So, I can see where Sel's point of view of Life has changed forever. She was looking death in the face. and here comes this Angel.

Worst kind of a shall we say very manipulative to the mind by using the love someone has for you. All for one purpose. To add to the hurt to make sure the job was done and she would never come back with anything but a normal break up song, after they broke up and she was still healing from her kidney transplant he not only immediately hooks up with Hailey but In announces they are getting married. Sorta like kickin someone when they are down. Funny you mention Karma because your watching Karma . This isn’t I broke up with you you broke my heart. This is The most unbelievably , without meaning to , multi message and delivery of only the intent for her self healing, but delivering a total blow of Karma and you’ve been called out , to everyone. Without it coming off like that to most but that’s what this is. In its glory but ya know what.... That is Karma isn’t ? In its true form. Not knowing when or how ? It happening when you least expect and most don’t think it’s Karma but just a bad thing that happened but this is a nicely wrapped package with a bow that when you unwrap it it looks like a plain ok break up song. Until you listen to it especially Justin Bieber. That’s why he’s panicking and put up that post luring his fan that he needs some incentive or a push of I think a a million likes by December. Something like that I really can’t remember the exact number but regardless. When has he ever done that ? Never Why? He knows his talent and anything he releases is going to hit record number downloads off I tunes and other sites . So why the post to the fans who have already been patiently waiting and that are the reason your be able to live the life your living. Making them do something in order for you to release your album. Pretty crappy but..... after hearing this song that he never ever in a million years thought that the broke girl he left just in pieces after 10 years of slowly manipulating could ever do this . He knows. He knows that these words to the right people who have been there or those who have ever had someone close to them experience this and him he’s worried that it has affected his fan base is what I am thinking because that’s just an off the wall post and request. Just days after her release and he’s never eever done anything like that before because there’s absolutely no need to beg for likes. He’s only doing it to see if he can and goes get them so he can feel at ease that this release hasn’t hurt his fan base. But what he doesn’t brake into account because he’s panicking , like someone who has something to hide, that his fan base is much younger . To young for for them to have experienced this maybe lower level I might say if narcissistic behavior. ( still very damaging all in the same). But he’s not thinking so he’s calling himself out even more with his wife’s post of listening to the I Will Kill You video minutes after her release , his post of the Cheet-ah post giving the illuion yo people that she possibly cheated on him when she didn’t. ( see twisting manipulating on lies for his benefit) still doing it. Then the comment that The Bieber’s just want to be left alone. Giving the thought that Selenas been bothering them. ( ummm she hasn’t and still has not said A word directly or indirectly about either of them since the break up) them. She had t been around she took time off and went away to heal and get right physically and mentally to find herself. So I mean kid all is good in Newlywed land with gum drop trees and fairies flying around with magic wands sprinkling love dust then why are you and your wife commenting AT ALL and the next day after her release saying it’s had no affect whatsoever. Really so all the post and now your wife back pedaling on the I Will kill you post saying she understand the artistry part of why Selena had to release such a song. Umm wait let me check nope don’t see anything anywhere where Selena asked or was looking for any validation or an ok from Hailey Bieber on why she released anc write that song . Did she date a narcissist or something? Cause I am currently fighting my way out of a burnout caused by one and the lyrics are sounding way too familiar to me. But brightside of someone breaking you....you get to know yourself and love yourself to the point you even love your weaknesses....you love all of you...cause it makes you you. You have to lose something to value it. And yeah karma is a bitch. But it goes the other way around as well. If you stay positive while you face negativity... yes the price you pay is high but the reward is worth it. I will never admit it but I am thankfull for my narcissistic asshole. I am not done but it already made me a better happpier person and the rest will heal.
